April is a better month for the PS3 then the 360

Enchanted Arms, FEAR and Rainbow 6 Vegas come out. May is going to be lemming ownage with Lair and Heavenly Sword, Saints Row and Warhawk in June, spring will be a decent time for the PS3 game wise. Plus Oblivion at some point will be out and Shivering Isles at some point too. I dont mind waiting for those games really cause I still have to get a PS3.

And wait a minute, you compare Mass Effect in May with the mediocre Heavenly Sword, and garbage Lair ? Now you convnced me PS3 is much better !!!! Plus 360 gets Two Worlds in May too, 2 amazing RPG's, or a crap flyer and Heavnly Sword to enjoy ... 6 hours ?

No thanks, PS3 offerings are so far behind 360, it is not even a question if you would pick a PS3, especially if you do not have a 360

Mass Effect is OWNAGE, Heavenly Sword and Lair are not

And Oblivion is best on 360, it is so far better it is again a no brainer to get the 360 version with HDR+AA+vibrand colors, as for Shivering Isles, yes it might ome downgraded again on PS3, what deos it matter, though they said that after Shivering Isles on PC/360 they will never bother with Oblivion again, meaning no SI for PS3 most probably

And let's not get into summe, with Blue dragon, Lost odyssey, Bioshock, Halo 3, Too Human, Fable 2, Precursors, Overlord, Ninja Gaiden 2, Eternal Sonata, Cry On, Infinite Undiscovery etc etc etc

And what does PS3 have in April anyway ?

Gears is using nothing 360 has to offer, it is just a 1st gen game

O btw FEAR on 360 wasn't downgraded. IT got a 9 graphically on PC and 8 on 360 but that's because it's 1 year late and I believe the reviewer was a different guy.turgore

Only on PS3 games get downgraded, see oblivion huge downgrade for PS3 version, and fear is even worst

Yes, ME TOO !!! Fact is those games are years away, 1-2 for sure, maybe MGS4 releases in Japan early 2008, and we get some pics at least ... as for the others ...

No thanks, no PS3 yet for me, Mass Effect tramps any PS3 game for years and years, and i will not wait years to play  my first next gen rpg or AAA title, you can have ...Lair and Warhawk, i will have the very best on my 360

I have a Wii, love it, and love its style of games but want to get a more graphics orientated console for my t.v..

I got a 19 inch. LCD t.v. surprisingly on Christmas (yes I know that was a while ago) and one day I want a console to take advantage of that. 8)  It is capable of up to 1080i. 8)

Please to all those who OWN one or the other:

PS3 or 360? 

Pros and cons would be nice as well as a few EXCLUSIVE games for each I should track. :) Thanks in advance, it means more then you know. :)

That is easy, get a 360, Mass Effect in May, Shivering Isles in 27 March, Lost Odyssey, Halo 3 etc etc

Gears of War is like Halo for Xbox. The Halo sequal look the same and was hardly a jump in graphics at all.

Considering that X360 is suppose to be easy to program for..its a give Epic already push X360 to its limits. It makes sense cause in Gears of War, the textures are of low resolutions and the enemy bodies disappear into a blood splot. That just shows that X360 doesnt have the power to handle such extra features like higher textures and dont have adequate memory for retaining enemy corpses.

I dont expect Gears of War 2 to be a graphical leap at all..but it will be better in a sense the dev will have more time with story, and design better levels than what was in Gears of War. Now its time to milk the franchise just like Halo did it Xbox.

For me it's. Slow blu ray drive. No AAAs. No RumbleTony-Baxter

It simply has the worst combination of price+games, if it was really cheap like 360, i would get one, if it had FF13 or MGS4 i would get one, but it has none of those perks, in some years perhaps then
