FFX made me tear a couple times, both the ending and the scene in the lake. I burst into tears at the ending of the first Kingdom Hearts.

I can't wait for RE5either. I'm making my boyfriend get it so we can play it co-op....nothing says bonding like the sweet sounds of a chainsaw.

I seriously doubt there is ever going to be a remake of FF7. If there ever was, I'm sure it would not be on the wii. Right now the only games available on all 3 next gen systems are sports games a couple shooters, I don't think thats going to change anytime soon.

Theydefinitelywork. Make sure your wavebird is set on channel 1, or try making sure there there isn't a wii remote synced to the spot that the wavebird is plugged to.

[QUOTE="DJ_Lae"](...)it's as if they convince themselves all female characters are being played by women, even if deep down they know it's really a dude.San-Frodenzo

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAT? do you mean that hot night elf I've been courting like 2 years now on WoW is actually a fat dude eating chips out of his tabasco-sauce-stained t-shirt???

back on topic... maybe deep down they A) maybe this one, against all odds -I MEAN ALL ODDS-, might be a real girl playing or B)they don't care it's really a dude...

I actually know only one girl that's both a geek and a gamer, but just like one... ONE!!! among all the people I know (I mean it's not like I know like 2 billion people but they are not a small bunch of people either)

btw, and I don't mean to be rude or something, why are videogames, in general, really not popular among the girls??? is the lack of sunlight? the 99.999% male population ready to surround them like vultures on the games chatrooms or over XBL? is the violence? the lack of pink and/or any other pretty cute color? (this last statement is gonna bite me in the butt later  )

The video game industry has only recently become something thats mainstream. Video games use to besynonymouswith over-weight dorky guys playing in a basement somewhere. Now that video games are everywhere, a lot of girls are getting into them too. We usually won't be up at 3am trying to get the Seriously 2.0 achievement in GoW2, but you'd be surprised how many girls are gamers now.

I always pick a girl, but then again I am one. If I was a guy... I'd still pick a girl. Most of the time female models look better than the male ones... and girls are just more fun to look at in general.

Mainly because it's cool to be against the majority.

To me, it seemed like GTA4 was indroducing the new direction of the franchise. The game had a deeper story, complex characters, a more realistic feel. I personally felt the game was more enjoyable because of the changes. I began to really feel for Niko, who seemed to be a nice guy who couldn't avoid trouble. If your looking for freedom and lots of over the top violence, yeah, play Saints Row 2. But the reason it got lower scores was because GTA4 is a more developed, in depth game.
