With all these futile and annoying fanboy damage control threads, it's time to explain why the PS3 is failing in sales.

Now, the PS1 and PS2 are probally some the greatest consoles of all time. They are highly regarded by millions. The PS2 has reached about 150 million sales worldwide. The original Xbox sold what, less than 30 million in sales worldwide?

The PS2 completely dominated, and reaching 150 million in sales is outstanding. The XBOX reached less than 30 million.

The XBOX360 has reached around 40 million in sales. An increase in sales. That's an accomplishment.

Now to the PS3. The PS3 has reached around 35 million in sales worldwide. Now this is where the fail comes in. Explain to me, how can a console(PS2) sell 150 million, and then in the next gen, The PS3 only reaches 35 million. That is an incredible drop in sales. The freaking PS2 reaches 150 million sales, and The PS3 reaches a mere 35 million??!

The PS3 is the predecessor of a console that had 150 million in sales, gets dominated for four years in the current gen, and is just now starting to catch up?? And people are bragging about this? Why are these 150 million PS2 owners not buying the PS3? People. This is not an accomplishment.. By the look of the previous sales, the PS3 should have been doing good in the start, andit'sjust starting to catch up after being dominated for over four years. The PS3 should have been dominating from the start, but it has been in dead last for four years, and finally after getting a severe price-cut it's now only starting to catch up? That's a joke.

The XBOX360 reaches a gain in sales from last gen, while Playstation goes from 150 million to 35 million. I like all consoles, but to see these PS3 fanboys brag about numbers by trying to use Vcharts is just sad. Don't pay any attention to that nonsense. Being the predecessor of a console that sold 150 million to being dead last to finally catching up after four years IS NOT AN ACCOMPLISHMENT IN ANY WAY WHATSOEVER. Sony is most likely embarrassed by these numbers, and yet people are trying to brag about them. Sorry for the long post, but I'm just trying to show why these damage control threads will not work.

1. The ps3 move is actually a 3d simulation, goes far beyond the boundries of the Wii mote, better in every way, plus hey it looks sexy;)

I thought the controls were brilliant, worked hand in hand with the gameplay.
