What do you need your power supply for? I'd go with Corsair as it's a more recognized brand to me.

I need this for gaming on Core i7 system with DX11 GPU for future... will this PSU Corsair CMPSU-750TX do the job?

A core i7 and a decent graphics card; say a 260 gtx or 4890 will last you a couple of years or more. So for the time being you could save some money instead of buying a DX11. While these cards will bring a better performance DX11 isn't a great improvement; it's nothing to fret over certaintly. You could wait for the cards to see a price drop in the high end GPUs though.

It's entirely up to you though.

If you can get your hands on win 7 RC1 you can hold off buying Vista for now.

I second that. Just get a friend to load it on a CD.

What separates a regular motherboard from a high-end? How do I know which mine is; I've been asked for a distinction when calculating recommended power supply wattage?

I am from the U.S. I am really liking the build, just need to throw in a vista os. I was also wondering (being an intel user for a long time) are the amd's the way to go, or what about the i7's?insanestryker89

The i7's are a little too pricey at the moment especially considering that kind of power just isn't needed; people even OC those things! AMD is known for giving you great for performance for your money. The CPU picked out for you exemplifies this rule completely, it can match the i7's when it comes to current gaming and it is quite a bit cheaper.

Hi I think everyone will tell you to go with the Corsair.

manutd4life0023

but what about the 50 watt more from the KINGWIN ABT-800MA1S?

That extra 50W doesn't really mean anything. As I said go with the better brand. Corsair's PSU also has a maximum of 800W anyway.

That build is nice. I would remove one 4890 though to cut costs but get a crossfire supported PSU so you're covered for an upgrade. He also needs a DVD drive.

Just did. Also added DVD drive.

Well I can offer the OP no more help this guy's good :).
