@CriticalCritic Actually, Halo came before CoD. So CoD is Halo in modern times.

@pr0teu5 Funny story. I remember when RE3 came out and people were complaining that it was the same. It really ticked me off a bit. Then RE4 came out then everyone was happy (except for a few people). RE5 came out and I, and other people, enjoyed the game. People complained about the changes from the last 4 games. I was then confused. RE6 came out and only 10% of people found it enjoyable, including me. The other 90% complained about the whole action thing and too much change from the first 3 games. I was then really confused in what was going on. People complained about no changes from RE3. Then 3 games later, people complained about too much changes from RE6. I can agree with the action part, but the controls and gameplay? WTF!? Then I jumped to a conclusion, people don't want games to change. They want the exact same thing for the rest of the series. *Sigh* At least Revelations bought horror back. Can't wait until it hits the shelves. Oh, and EA? I have zero fucks for them whatsoever. They can do anything to their games, that's fine really. But I just hope they continue Dead Space. It's a shame to see that die on their 3rd game. You never know, they might bring horror back on Dead Space 4. If RE Revelations can do it, then Dead Space can.

I'm pretty surprised people are happy that Dead Space 3 isn't doing so well. A friendly reminder, if Dead Space 3 doesn't sell 5 million copies, they will discontinue Dead Space. And probably never see another Dead Space game until they decide to reboot it. Like Resident Evil.

I'm still waiting for my copy. But judging from the gameplay I've seen, it's action (No shit Sherlock). But it looks really fun at the same time. The demo was enjoyable as hell. There was some scary parts from the gameplay I saw. But not as scary than 2 and 1. Just jumpscares. Now that I mentioned it, the only thing I found scary was the jumpscares in the previous 2 games. Then once you get the jumpscare, you suddenly go all badass and kill the Necros. So overall, Dead Space (for me) was scary through jumpscares. Nothing else. If you don't agree, deal with it.
