I think what we need, or have been needing. Is more full feature disk games at different price points. For example, having a game that is only single player cost $30-$40. That would developers help sell more copies of their games. It would also not waste time and resources trying to make everything "mainstream" or multiplayer.
@hawaiian8 @LeperousAvenger No they didn't, but this is sort of different in my opinion. They did come out with Playstation Plus which, I admit, is a better option than Xbox Live.
Does everyone think Microsoft would give Sony such a huge leg up on them?
I am sure that Gamestop, Microsoft, and Sony sat down in a room and came up with an agreement. Whatever Microsoft is doing about used games, I can almost guarantee that Sony is doing the same thing. I just hope all of the complainers are still pissed when Sony announces it.
Sony pushing 4k huh? I guess this is like how they pushed 1080p with ps3. Even though almost all ps3 games run in 720p. I think they should focus on actually implementing the current technology properly before moving on to the next. This kind of thing is pretty much the whole reason I gave up on consoles and now exclusively play p.c. games.
