I finally got the GameCube Aficionado emblem. :) I better enjoy it while I can; if I were to get every last damn game in my wishlist that emblem would be gone for sure. In within some time between the next two weeks, I'm probably going to be buying cheap PlayStation games, so I'll probably lose it then.
If you read my previous blog entry, you would see that I got some new games. Anyway, I've been mostly playing Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, and it's been a blast. I'm stuck on this one hard-ass mission called Wrong Side of the Tracks. It's as hard as hell! Jak & Daxter is fun, and it reminds me of the good old Crash Bandicoot and Spyro platforming days on the original PlayStation. Good times, good times. Ratchet & Clank is pretty fun, too, but Ratchet controls like hell, and Ratchet's voice actor sucks! I still like Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal more, but I'm having fun with this one.

3 New Games
by Leverish on Comments
I had a bit of money so I ordered some cheap games off of Amazon. First, I bought Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. I've rented it many times, and it's loads of fun, espiacilly if you use cheats, but the missions in that game are so hard! Next, I got the first Ratchet & Clank game. I have the 3rd and 4th games, but I never had a chance to play the first or second one, so now I will be able to see how such an excellent series started off. :) Lastly, I bought Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy. I've played Jak X, but I never played any of the games before it, so now I'll be able to see even more excellent moments by Daxter.
So, hopefully if they arrive before the end of the week, I'll have one game-filled Spring Break. Which means, all of you will have to survive without Leverish for a while....:P

Video Games Throw Life at You Hard

Well I've playing some Resident Evil 4, Metroid Prime: Hunters, and Burnout Revenge lately. Each one just had to do one little thing that pissed me off badly.
In Resident Evil 4, I just finished one annoying part where you and Louis are in a house fighting the zombies right after you heard that your chopper got shot down. Then you have a choice to take a path to fight another "Gigante" or take another one and go against some more zombies. I chose to avoid the Giant, because I was low on healing items, and I had lots of grenades to kill some people. Well, I go through the area killing lots of dudes, and picking up a bunch of TMP ammo. I was so lucky, because the TMP is a very useful weapon. Then I jump down to that one place, and then the mob of crazy old ladies with red chainsaws come out kill me. I had no idea anything like that would happen. Ugh, now everytime I play it, I don't get the same amount of TMP ammo. Just some money and occasional handgun ammo.
I thought I would have some better luck playing Metroid Prime: Hunters, so I go online and play some matches. I got in a match with one guy and man was he good. I lost 3 matches big time against him and then we play another game. I was just about to win and then he disconnected. Man, I was so pissed off.
Then I played some Burnout Revenge. I'll let you know right now; I suck at Burnout. So I was playing crash mode and it was a pretty hard mission. I made this awesome explosion and got the qualifications for a gold medal. Then right before the count down meter ended, my PS2 froze. This just made me snap. I really have not been so pissed with video games before.
Before this blog is over, I have to say some things. First, if you noticed when coming here I added a paragraph of the games I play online right under the blog banner. If there's a game up there that you play online as well, please PM so we can add eachother. :) Also, watch out, I feel a Sonic Riders review coming. ;)

Mission Birthday: Minor Success
by Leverish on Comments
Well today is my birthday. It was a lot better than what I was expecting*. All of my presents actually made it on time*. I got Resident Evil 4, Burnout Revenge, Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence, and as a bonus from my sister, Metroid Prime: Hunters. Unfortunetly, I had loads of homework today, so I could only play a little of Hunters and Subsistence, and I've played RE4 and Revenge before my birthday, so I already know what they're like. Hunters was pretty fun even though I sucked at it. And I played Subsistence online for 10 seconds, before I quickly realised that maybe that wasn't the best idea for a MGS newbie.
It's a shame I had so much homework today. I really wanted to play the games more, but I'll do that tomorrow. Anyway, there was a nice cake, and we had pizza. So my birthday was really fun, but the homework ruined.
And I promise, I'll try to post in my friends' blog entries, but I've just been so busy lately.

Not the Birthday I Was Expecting

Let me first say, the reason I haven't been active on GameSpot for over a week now is because I've been insanely addicted to Battlefield 2: Modern Combat. Online mode is a huge blast. One strange thing that happened during online play , though. My name was "Blubba" and apparently some user found the name offensive or something. So my account was deleted, but it pissed me off a lot, because that was right after I got 42 points in one game. You know what's even stranger? There are users with names like "White people suck" or "f***youb****" (uncensored, though) and they get along just fine and can just keep their awful names.
Anyway my birthday is March 28th and it's coming up soon. I wasn't allowed to have a party this year, because my sister is going on an expensive school field trip to Italy and there's no money left for me. I'm getting Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsitense, Burnout Revenge, Resident Evil 4, and an awesome headset. The bad thing is my mom just ordered everything just now and none of them will make it until the 30th. This really pisses me off. "Happy birthday son, but uh... your presents won't be here until 2 days." I can just see that happening. Wow, I sure do feel like the loved child in the house.

My GameCube is Retarted
by Leverish on Comments
My GameCube has some problems. First, most of time I put a disc in there it will say "No Disc", even if it was brand new game. This is a problem that is just getting worse. I also notice that it is starting to scratch my games, when I'm playing them. I know it's happening, because I can hear it inside my GameCube. I can't wait until the Revolution comes out so I can just play my GameCube games in peace. :|
In recent news I just got the "Neighborly" emblem. I also leveled up to level 7. Amazing thing was I completely skipped level 6. :| No complaints coming from me, though; that's awesome.

The Second First Blog Entry - Broken Headset Edition
by Leverish on Comments
This may look like my first blog entry, when really it's not. I used to be known as NintendoNerd328, but I got a little bored of GameSpot and deleted that account. Well a couple of months later I decided to rejoin, and here I am right now, making a horrible paragraph.
Just to keep you all interested, I completely destroyed my headset for my PlayStation 2. It was a really horrible headset that wouldn't fit on my head and was really deffective, so I took a baseball bat and beat the hell out of that thing. It wasn't worth anything and worked horribly, so it was of little loss.
This wraps up what will be one of my many blog entries. Before you leave please check out one my reviews. :)
