Quick question: I'm planning on upgrading to the 120 GB hard-drive shortly after NXE is released. Does anyone know if the dashboard update will be transfered over via the included cable, or will I have to install it again? No big deal either way, just wondering.
EDTI: Is it just me, or are everyone's gamerpics disappearing from their gamercards? I assume this is related to the update.

The NXE is installed to the firmware of the 360 not the HDD, although any content will have to be transferd
since everyone is wondering what time its comes out.... just do a simple time conversion. it comes out November 19th 12:01 PST (pacific standard time), November 20th 3:01am EST (Eastern standard time) [not sure but i think europe is 8 hours away so] Europe November 20th 8pm.. i dont know any more past EuropedBOMB9

Damn man, you must have a lot of stuff on your HDD. Keep in mind that on a 120GB HDD you only have about 110GB, maybe less. Before installing anything I had 101GB free and after installing GTAIV, COD4 and GH3 I have 86.3GB left. THats not too bad I thought and the installed games do perform better. I'm thinking Imay try Oblivion later to see if thats any better cos I got pissed off with constant loading before so gave up on it
HDD are the same worldwide. Region codes are locked in the DVD drives firmware not in the HDD. If you get it and it is used then just do a format of the drive before you put anything on it to remove any junk that might be on there and you'll be good to go
Has anyone installed Mass Effect yet and tried it out? I really want to know if that has improved with the update, mainly in load times and textures popping inAvenger1324
My cousin has it installed on the leaked version. He tells me texture pop in has completly gone
Yeah I've had a few problems but nothing major. I assumed it was cos I have the NXE and anyone I played against hasn't. I know there have been problems between NXE consoles and those without it cos things such as private chat and video chat wont work for me. Should all be fixed by tomorrow though

I've installed 3 games so far, GTAIV took the longest at 8 mins but the differences in loading times during gameplay more than make up for this. It also plays a hell of a lot smoother than off the disk
