The Virtual Console Game I Would Most Likely Buy Out of the New Releases (#1)

Or T.V.C.G.I.W.M.L.B.O.o.t.N.R. #1

My pick is Metroid for the Nintendo Entertainment System. The only Metroid game I've played was Metroid Prime, and I didn't like it because I don't like First-Person games (exept for Pokemon Snap). But, Metroid is the best game out of the three that came out this week.

The other games that came out this week were Cratermaze for the Turbografx16, and Shining in the Darkness for the Sega Genesis. Cratermaze is a puzzle game, and Shining in the Darkness is the Sequel of Shining Force. So, if you liked Shining Force you would most likely want to buy Shining in the Darkness.

P.S. I decided to change the name of this (from If I had a Wii...) because the other name seemed too boring.

Yay! I can play my Genesis now!

For the past few months, my Sega Genesis had one part that wasn't pluged in (the box thing),because I thought I had no room to put it (when a DVD player was put in my room). So, I wasn't able to play it for a while.

But now I can! Today I found an outlet to plug in the box thing. So, I will be reviewing more Genesis games, and the reviews will be better.

P.S. I just made that picture (the Barney one). Does anyone like it?

Video Game Wars Episode 1: The 16 Bit Era.

I decided to try something different to do on my blog, so I am going to compaire the top 2 selling consoles of the 16 bit era of video games.

Sega Genesis/ Mega Drive-

-Launch Price- $190

-Best Selling Game- Sonic The Hedgehog 2

-Add Ons- Sega CD- Launch Price- $300

Best Selling Game-Sonic CD

Sega 32X- Launch Price- $150

Best Selling Game-Knuckles Chaotix-

Overall- The Sega Genesis was a good system, but the Sega CD and the 32X were both a waste of money and they both failed. 8.5/10

Super Nintendo Entertainment System/ Super Famicom-

Launch Price- $200

Best Selling Game- Super Mario World

Add Ons- Super Game Boy-

Launch Price- $60

Best selling game- I don't know it plays Gameboy games-

Overall- The SNES had a wide variety of games, and it was really successful. 9/10

Winner-

-With its superior sound and game library to the Genesis, the SNES wins the 16 bit console war.-

P.S. If you liked this, suggest another video game era for me to pick (not the current era) the best console of that generation.

P.P.S.I don't know if the price of the Sega CD is right, I got the price from Wikipedia.

If I had a Wii... (#9)

What new VC game would I buy?

My choice is Wave Race 64 for the Nintendo 64. The game looks fun, and a lot of people say it is a good game.

The other choices were Adventures of Lolo for the Nintendo Entertainment System, and Galaga '90 for the TurboGraphix16.

Nintendo 64!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, today I bought a Nintendo 64. I bought Diddy Kong Racing, and my sister bought Pokemon Snap and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater.

P.S. Suggest some N64 games for me (other than Mario 64).

P.P.S. If you look at my now playing list it says Super Mario 64 on it, I don't own it, I'm borrowing it from someone.

If I had a Wii... (#8)

What new Virtual Console game would I buy.

My choice is Star Solider, which is a shoot-em-up on the Nintendo Entertainment System. Although it does seem a bit overpriced when for just 100 more Wiipoints, you can buy a TurboGrafix16 shoot-em-up with better graphics, sound, etc.

The other games this week are Drop Off for the TurboGraphix16, which is a mix of Bust-a-Move and Breakout, and Dynamite Headdy for the Sega Genesis.

If I had a Wii... (#7)

What new Virtual Console game would I buy?

My choice this week is Kirby's Dream Course for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. This game looks fun for a golf game, and it has Kirby's copy abilities in their too.

The other realeases that came out today were Devil's Crush for the TurboGrafix16 and Shining Force for the Sega Genesis.
