I think you just didn't get MGS. What you say about it is vey similar to what I say abot CoD of Battlefield. :)

And MGS is meant to be exaggerated - just like Ninja Gaiden, which also has one of the most ridiculous storylines EVER!

This is a seller/launch trailer. But I need to see alot of gameplay. Splinter Cell will suffer the same fate as CoD, if they don't make so changes. And not just mechanics. But the how feel of the game.
