MS is trying to dump it's remaining stock of 635's to make way for the Lumia 640 & 640 XL. I think MS is on the right track with lower-end/mid-range phones. The flagship phone will be dead in a few more years. People are going to realize they don't need to spend $200+ on a down payment and sign into a 2-year contract where they are paying more per month and getting less data. Instead, they can just buy a phone for under $150 and use it on a prepaid service. I think anyone who pays $800 for a phone (that's the actual price, not "free") and signs into a contract is a fool. Android phones are too laggy right now running on low-end hardware, so the experience is not so great, but WP8.1 on a mid-range device is as fluid as on their flagships. Chinese phone manufactures are having great success with this strategy as well.

I bought a new monitor--the Dell U2515H that has a maximum resolution of 1440P. The problem is that my video card, the Geforce 260 GTX, will only output 1080P through DVI.The Dell only accept HDMI and DisplayPort. I bought a DVI-to-HDMI, and when I set the resolution to 1440P, the screen goes black and cycles through until settling on 1080P.

I know I can buy a new graphics card for about 50 bucks, but is there a cable that will allow me to link my current card to my new monitor at 1440P?

What's the big deal? Gamers seem to be upset because Microsoft is making them wait three weeks to show them the same games they've been playing for years but with prettier graphics. That's all the PS4 conference was. They said 8GB and the forums went wild. They showed tech demos and first person shooters with updated graphics and heads were exploding with excitement. Xbox shows you instantanious switching between gaming and TV viewing and everybody is fuming. "How dare they not show us good graphics!" Believe me, if instant switching works like what was shown, you guys are going to wonder why wasn't this done sooner. When the next 3rd party multiplatform game comes out, you are going to get the One version because of instant switching instead of switching to the game the old fashioned PS4 way.

...lol. While I agree with you about the same old ****, new coat of paint, after that just...LOL

What if instant switching allows you to go straight into your last save point with a simple voice command--bypassing all menus, developer logos/game engine logos? Think about how many steps you go through, how much waiting it takes just to continue a game? If you can do it with a few words, thats gonna be a huge bonus in my book.

The NRA also has ties to militia groups and white supremacist groups like the Aryan Nations. The NRA has fostered these angry, white, viligilant, and heavily armed whackos.  I wouldn't be surprised if the person responisble for today's attack had some connection to the aforementioned groups.

[QUOTE="LifesonFan2112"]

When anybody brings up gun control, what is the first line of defense from the NRA? "Guns don't kill people, people kill people." They argue that if we enact strict gun control measurements, that crazy people will use knives, or even worse, explosives.

So is it a coincedence that during the height of the gun control debate, we have a mass stabbing last week and a college campus and a bombing today? Is the NRA behind these attacks? Would you put it past a group that raises money defending manufactures of killing weapons to protect their interests by killing people to make their arguement?

How about you shut up and go to hell

Do you think Alex Jones will look into my theory?

Oh look another crazy conspiracy theory.:roll:

Actually, I'm not. I think Oswald acted alone. The Moon Landing happened. I'm only showing how easy it is to make up conspiracy theories.

[QUOTE="Laihendi"] Are you being sarcastic? If you are, then please explain what is wrong with people printing guns.thegerg

It makes it harder to convict criminals who commit crimes using printed guns. Law enforcement would not be able to trace the possesion of a printed gun because they lack any sort of identification like a serial number. And I suppose it would be easier to discard a printed gun used in a crime by simply melting it down to liquid.

FYI, a serial number is not useful for tracing possession, only registered ownership. Also, traditional guns can be melted down too. Your argument is silly.

No, I don't think it's silly at all to foresee criminals opting to print plastic guns for the sole reason of the examples I mentioned before. Just because you can melt both guns (traditional and 3d printed) doesn't make them equal. Try melting metal and plastic and see which one is easier.
