[QUOTE="InEMplease"]

Oh yeah, lets just let everybody print themselves a gun.  Nothing inherently wrong with that.

Laihendi

Are you being sarcastic? If you are, then please explain what is wrong with people printing guns.

It makes it harder to convict criminals who commit crimes using printed guns. Law enforcement would not be able to trace the possesion of a printed gun because they lack any sort of identification like a serial number. And I suppose it would be easier to discard a printed gun used in a crime by simply melting it down to liquid.

My current laptop is a Dell Inspiron E1505, which I have had since 2006. About a year ago, I bought a replacement laptop that had much better specs but I returned it because I needed the multimedia buttons. I am weird in that I can suffer through slow load times and sluggish performance as long as I have the mute botton a mellimeter away from my finger.

My E1505 is pretty beat up. So I have been looking for a real replacement but I can't find a single laptop manufacturer that offer multimedia bottons. Does anybody have any suggestions? I would like the media buttons to be right next to the palm rest, like on my E1505. It doesn't have to be new. Even an older model will be okay with me.

This is why we needed the public option.

Why is it that the vast majority of these pro-gun nuts are white males? I also noticed in the interview that Alex Jones made it a point to say that most of the gun violence is from gang members. He's just trying to scare white people into thinking that scary black and mexicans are straped with guns. Feeds into the fears of racist white people.

My account was hacked. All my gold...gone. I don't know how they were able to get access to my account. I reset my password and added an authenticater. Will this protect me? Is it possible for them to gain access to my credit card info and such?

Suppose I preorder a 3DS from Amazon. Will they charge me the 250 immediately or will they charge me when the system ships?

I have a Dell E1505 that I bought about five years ago. The battery does not recharge, so it needs to be replaced. I can get it through Dell but for $155.00. Buy.com has a replacement battery for about $30.00. Is it safe to go with these third party batteries or is it money down the drain?

Secondly, I would like to reinstall Windows XP on this laptop. I've been using Ubuntu for about a year but want to go back to WIndows (for viewing Netflix). Unfortuntely, I accidently wiped my hardrive clean when installed Ubuntu, so I am unable to do recover using the F11 method. However, I do have a separete Windows XP disc. Can I use this disc to install XP but use the product key found on the bottom of my laptop (it's for Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005).

Thanks.

Wouldn't your CPU bottleneck the new GPU? I've tried my GTX 480 on core 2 Quad CPU @ 2.66 and it gave me around 20 fps decrease compared to i7 860 @ 3.00abuabed

I was lookingat getting the best LGA775 processor cause I thought they would be cheap now that the new Intel processors are out but they are still extrememly expensive. I guess this is because the supply is low. I'm not about to buy a new mobo, processor, ram etc.

I have another question. I tried to upgrade my Vista Home PC to Windows 7 Professional and it said it was not possible, but I was able to do I clean install. However, there is a folder called windows.old that contains lots of old files and game programs. I don't want any of this information and the folder is taking up like 120 GB. I can't seem to unistall the programs contained in the folder. How do I get rid of all those files?

Right now I have an E8400, 4GB RAM, and a GTX 260. I'm thinking about upgrading my videocard. What I am most concerned about is my power supply. This is what I currently own: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139005

It's a Corsair 650TX.

Does that have enough juice to support a 480?
