Poor game is going to get crucified for the smallest things. Mind you, this isn't one of them; not having co-op doesn't bother me though.

Definitely. It's a great game if you're into RPGs. You hear a lot about people getting "addicted" to it and yes, that can happen but it happens far less times than you'd think. A bit of self-control goes a long way.

[QUOTE="Brainhunter"]I'd prefer a VSYNC'D 30FPS locked framerate which holds up steadily and smoothly throughout the entire game than a framerate that juggles between 30 to 60 FPS, which may make the game look unoptimized. The lower frames would also allow for more rendering techniques beyond raw frame counters : motion blur, post-processing filters of various kinds, higher resolution textures, farther draw distance, anything. This is RE5, a TPS survival horror genre that doesn't really benefit from the 60FPS required from fighting genres and action adventure titles like DMC and the Ninja Gaiden series.

Nailed it.

I hear graphics dictates how good an RPG plays. Can I get confirmation on this? I can't wait for WKC.

SNES. Still the greatest games console to be released.

[QUOTE="Englandfc1966"][QUOTE="obamanian"]

Killzone 2 has mediocre visuals delta3074

KZ2 doesn't have mediocre visuals, take of the fan boy goggles please.

it does compared to crysis, enough said

If that helps you sleep soundly at night, alright. But yeah, stupid thread.

Different styles, different preferences. Crysis is probably technically superior, but people may prefer Killzone's approach. Simple as that.
