Anyways yea everyone is going to flame you real hard and you probably won't read most of what everyone's writing but I agree with you to some extent...
Here's my dilemma, I've owned the wii since launch and have played most of the games and purchased 4. Zelda, RE4, Warioware and Metroid. And let's say 3 since warioware was sweet for a couple days and then I sold it. So this was my 'beef'... Until metroid came out there was not a title out worth buying that was a wii exclusive (so no zelda or RE4). So that kinda sux that I own the system for a year b4 I get my first real game (because I already owned zelda and RE4 for GC). So w/e I love zelda and RE4 anyways and I don't play my wii much (I still wouldn't want anything else since I obviously own a computer and nothing else on the other consoles, that I can't et on PC really wows me anyways).
Anywho, metroid comes out and its pretty good... So yea, pretty good I guess. And I suppose if you were lookin for metroid and thats all, it's not really worth a system. With that much I agree.
And then there is hope I guess... I mean you can trust nintendo to give you what you expect with some quality on top. Personally I loved TP (and can understand why people think its just the same old thing, IT IS! But that's what I wanted so no complaints), and metroid is pretty good too lol. On top of that MP8, Strikers and Warioware are 'playable' if not so buyable... So I can see why you would buy the system if you were into Nintendo titles. And there is evidence that the third parties will be improving in the near future. I can't really see them screwing up BWII and yea Brawl will be at least as good as melee and be a lot bigger so... chances are people will eat it up. Personally if they had've realeased fire emblem sooner I wouldn't have cared about another game for a long while (that and future zeldas alone were my selling points).
But yea, I guess the wii is just not for you, I'd consider keeping it till January just in case b/c there is sooo much to come over the holiday season... So yea, just hope for the best for now and show a little more patience till deveopers smarten up I guess. Eventually the wii will flourish... But hey by that time PS3 and the 360 will also have great titles, so be glad its cheap!
