Gears of War IS better then Halo 3. But that's not saying much. Halo is not that great of a game. I am one of the sucker's who fell for the hype. Played it for a few hours. And didn't like it at all. Halo is a mediocre first person shooter at best. Story is mediocre. Graphics... decent. Multiplayer...mediocre. Bioshock, Gears of War, and the call of duties are all more worthy of the Halo fanbase in my opinion. But again in answer Gears is better (don't like it's multiplayer either though)

I would say that Gears is a good game all around, but I can't because of its flaws. Its single player aspect is excellent, but the single player is so short that you feel violated when you finish it. The online portion is nothing compared to action of Halo, but that's just me.
Is it possible to use a notebook lock to lock the xbox to something?
I want to take it back to school with me, but i want that extra security.
[QUOTE="Light_Destroyer"][QUOTE="Lobster_Ear"][QUOTE="hobbez"]Nah. I'm staying home. I'm more worried about how hard the classes are.[QUOTE="Lobster_Ear"][QUOTE="hobbez"]Dorm? Do you know your room mate yet? Get to know a few people so you have someone to hang out with. Hm.. try to find places to eat in case you don't like dorm food. What else.. keep up with the reading. Oh bring shower slippers... hobbez
Oh well then, just keep up with the reading. Go to office hours, get to know your professors. If you really need help with **** let go of your pride, go to tutoring. If you took AP ****s in high school, you shouldn't have too much of a problem. What's your major, if you don't mind my asking.
I don't have one :( I really don't have any great passion for anything...maybe videogames...but there is no way in hell I could be a videogame programmer. I suck at math.I'm in Computer Science. Can you tell me what to expect?
Hah funny how the word "cla ss" was censored. Anyway, you'll be fine. Don't declare just yet, test the waters first. Try a bit of bio, chem, math, social science, psych, econ, or whatever. I hated chem in high school but guess what, I majored in it (along with bio). Anyway, you shouldn't worry about picking a major just yet, first year of college is about transition and getting all the GE clas ses over with. ComSci hm... lots of math and programming? Heh I don't really know

Bioshock does not have online play. A FPS in these days will never pull a 10 average because of this. When you finish the game you need to find other things to do besides play the story againspartanhockey
Bioshock is the type of game that sets itself up to the point where multiplayer doesn't matter because the story and gameplay of the single player is truly remarkable.
