Don't panic, it seems as though the service is working slowly or is down. You're not the only one, so don't return your xbox.

I actually think this was a pretty good E3. We were able to learn about all of the games that were presented because they didnt have all the distractions that typically made the trade show unbearable to watch.

[QUOTE="cybermario"]ppl are now saying Forza is pushing the 360 much harder, making more heat. this heat bends or disconnects connection between important parts on the motherboard. Staryoshi87

Which "people" are these? Company reps of some sort or forum posters? Because 90% of what you hear on forums is BS, sometimes even what I say is bs. They actually toned Forza down to run at 60FPS, so that theoryis out the window. I leave my 360 on for hours at a time playing forza, and like any other game, there are no negative repercussions. The only results of said gameplay is my enjoyment.

Same here. My Xbox has run forza for at least 5 continuous hours every night since it came out. Most of the time it runs for longer than that, and I haven't had any issues.

[QUOTE="jonwithoutah"]ripoff. so far to buy both map packs that have been released (which equals a total of what 10 maps?) it costs $20. it's a little ridiculous.II-FBIsniper-II
The Halo 2 Map Disk cost the same amount, didn't it?

Yeah, but nobody but that waste of money. The maps were free.

This is just like when the morning news says "We have a shocking discovery to report to you that may change your lives." The problem with these stories is that we have known about these problems for months possibly even years, but they act like it happened over night.

I fixed the computer with the Dell disk. I was telling you guys that I didn't want to install windows off of it. I just wanted to make it to the repair module, and it worked.

If you can't do that, find out what kind of hard disk is installed (brand) and go the manufacturers site and make a boot disk with their recovery tools. Try to repair with that, if you don't you'll have to reformat.thebrantmeister

But I'm asking if it is safe to use the dell disk?

Whenever I try to load windows it hangs up, no matter how I try to load it, and says UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME.

The computer that is having these problems is a toshiba, but I don't have a toshiba recovery disk. I do have a dell disk, and I want to perform a repair, so can I do the repair using my dell disk?
