I'm trying to build a laptop for college. I'm trying to build it to the point where if I won't have an unusable heap of plastic on my back, but I won't have to spend a lot to get a laptop that should keep up with what I'm going to be doing until I get a job where it will need stronger specs.
I will be majoring in Computer Science and Engineering with a little Accounting/Business or Economics/Finance so I might need it for those classes in two years. But for the first years I will basically use it for word processing, internet, watch videos, and I might play some older games like Half-Life 2 and games that were made before that, but nothing after that.
One last question, would it be worth the money to invest in Lightscribe, or is it just a waste of time? Now......the specs.

I didn't add the accidental coverage for to go with the 1 year warranty because it was an extra $100. Should I get it anyway? It already comes with a basic warranty.
