Is this the first episode of Boston Legal you have ever watched?

If you were a regular viewer you'd know that Crane, Poole & Schmidt take on varying cases, and there is usually a few people at the firm who don't agree with it, and a few that do. In the episode you're refering to one of the lawyers representing the client clearly did not agree that women should be given priesthood (word?), but he argued in her favour anyway. That's what's interesting about some of their cases: If they are hired to try a case they have to try to win, even if they don't always agree with it.

I will admit that the writers (not one person writes every episode, keep in mind) seem to sway to a Democratic way of thinking, but you can always count on Denny Crane (William Shatner) to bring up the more Republican view.

It's a really great show, so don't judge it by this single episode.

We all complain about commercials, but you have to admit that some of them are just plain good. Whether humourous, dramatic, or just impacting. . . what is your favourite television commercial? It can be for any item/service and from any year.

Mine is the Ikea lamp commercial from a few years back: http://youtube.com/watch?v=NeyEXt7-0jU :D

I'm interested to see what you guys think!

In short: Yeah, RAID sounds like a good idea. Will it be at all harmful to my cat in any way? I'm not planning on spraying her in the face with it or anything, but afterwards if she sniffs where I had sprayed it a few hours later will the fumes harm her?

Luncbox1

Maybe try and keep your cat out of the room for about a week, just to be safe. When I sprayed my room to hell and back I said "No, Kitty! If you go in there you will DIE! STAY OUT if you value your life!!!"

Aw man, that's going to be tough. She insists on sleeping on my pillow every night, and if she can't get in she'll scratch at the door. U guess it's better than having her harmed, though, and also better than sleeping with a cat AND a few roque insects. Maybe I'll spray it when we're at camp for a week, that way she won't even be home. Thanks for the help *^_^*

That is at least 34 too many legs for me to consider it anything but disgusting.MM87
I get centipedes in my house sometimes but their not those exotic, tropical ones you saw. I have, how should I saw it, domesticated ones. Their just gray and creepy as hell. Luckily any bug I get in my house stays in the basement where I hang out all day. So I know when I go upstairs to sleep there aren't any creepy crawlers there.

The one we saw was also sort-of domestic, this one is just one I found on Google :) The one we saw was red though, and this was the closest match I could find. I do not envy you living in a place that has centipedes!

There is only one tried and true solution: Let's all spend the summer in Hawaii!

Nice!!! Tho it's a fake, it looks a bit similiar to a friend of mine who has warts on his fingertips, and sometimes he'll use a nail clipper to clip the wart mound, or he'll pull em off with his fingernails. When he pulls em, it leaves a circular indent which looks a bit like those tips.

Truth_Seekr

You should tell your friend about Compound W. . . they have it in FreezeAway form now, which is basically instantanious, so there is NO excuse for not treating warts.

As for the picture of the fingers? It gives me the shivers. Disgusting.

Luckily we don't have Cockroaches here. . . but I moved into my brother's old room in the basement this winter and the bugs are just coming out now. The spiders creep me out, but at least they pretty much stay on their webs. It's the sow bugs that really get my skin crawling. They're only about 1cm long but they are disgusting!

Why did I even look up pictures of it? I will not sleep well tonight.

Sow Bug

The worst bug I have seen in a basement, though, was at my friends house when we saw a centipede. We never saw another one again in anyone's house, so we have no clue where this guy came from.

[QUOTE="Raged-wolverine"]yes.....my advice to you is don't ask for dating/marriage advice from people at IT....cuz we're all full of BS ideas in such matters...:Poddone12

He's right, this is nothing to call IT about! ;)

I'm sure just saying anything from your heart will make it a special moment. As for when, make it a romantic evening or even just in the middle of a walk. Maybe during something you guys to together often that is special to the two of you (and also appropriate. . .) For instance, if you guys go to a certain restaurant or watch a movie at home a certain night of every week do it then. A time that is already special for the two of you and that you will want linked to the memory of your proposal for the rest of your life.

It is a pretty nerve-wracking thing, but once you have it all planned out I'm sure the words will just flow and it will be fantastic.

Really good advice, I really appreciate it. Thank you!

You are very welcome, and good luck! I'm sure everything will go great *^_^*
