Well here I am trying to make a "future proof" comp. My dad gave me a 1.3 to 1.5k spending limit, but because I want this rig to be future proof I'm probably going to need the 1.5k. This is what I have. The Rig Im 3XX bucks over the limit but that because I dont know much about mobo's, and am not to sure which one to pick, and im thinking that the evga should be a 640mb, thats because of the size of my lcd..... but that makes it less future proof. but w/e if I can't keep it than screw it.

Is there anything I should change? Like the PSU...? I'm on a 1.2K budget, maybe 1.3K. Also, can anyone find me a good CD / DVD burner, because I'm not too bright in that area. If possible, a black one would be nice. And I also need a good monitor, CRT or LCD, I don't really care, preferably a 19" or higher for a low price.

Edit: Any news about when the 8900 series will be out?
