Ok im about to order it, just need to know if if i should change the hdd or if i should keep the perpendicular recording hdd. And im probably going to stick with the mobo. So anything to change? Rig Link
Edit: also will the gpu fit the case?
Ok, I got the RIG down to 1.5K. So what do you guys think? Also :? is that a good mobo? will this Rig last 2 to 4 years?
Edit: will the gpu fit in that case?
Edit: What is "perpendicular recording"? its on the HDD. Should I get one with out it? or is that a good thing?
That monitor can only display 1400*1050 pixels which is really bad for a 20.1 inch monitor.
This one is better and cheaper:

You can save at least 100$ on the motherboard and another 200$ by going for a 8800GTS 640 MB.

Very nice, I'm McLovin that monitor. And yeah I knew that I probably wont be keeping that 786GTX...
Also, about changing that mobo. I'm a bit hesitant... I mean.. I REALLY dont know much about what i should be looking for in a mobo. Any recommendations...(links).... would be great. Its a pretty simple setup, I mean I probably wont do sli and would like one with copper cooling since I want it to last a while.(2,3,4 years... maybe even five...nah not that long, but 2 to 4)
Edit: What are North and South Bridge? and are they important? worth? and which are best?, Also, is copper heatsinks on a mobo worth it?
[QUOTE="Link2legends"]ok, so anything else? i can probably knock off a 100 bucks off from the mobo.RayvinAzn
Definitely cut the motherboard back, you won't need the Striker Extreme, especially without an aftermarket cooler for your CPU.
Also not a big deal, but picking up a SATA DVD RW drive instead of an IDE version. Helps keep the clutter down and all that jazz.
Any rec. on a mobo?
That monitor is too expensive. Also, you could get by with a corsair hx 520 with that setup.

Well I thought the monitor was worth the price because of the 2000 contrast ratio and was 20+ inchs, but if you have any recomendations....? also, i want to keep the corsair 620w incase wayyyy in the future i need more power.
