@gohangeorge @LiquidSifu80 Wel, true of course. But the bottom line for me is to have fun. I don't care about making a bunch of people I don't know rich at the cost of innovation.

Amazing game, true developers! Forget shareholder value and mainstream nonsense, let's make something special! I hope they stay around for a long time.

A necessary evil to broaden in order to broaden the fan base? Why is is necessary to broaden the fan base at all? It's such a shame that it's al focussed on creating shareholder value and not on creating a beautiful product. Maybe I'm getting old (already), but I feel commerce is killing a lot of the creativity and authenticity. Sure it created a lot of wealth and it allows for big budgets, which in turn make for fantastic looking and sounding games, but the industry is losing it's soul.

Bring it! I can't wait to finally have a new console generation! The current generation has been around for way to long.

Great console, good memories. I still have it and take it out of the box every now and then. Those were the days, I had an endless amount of time to play games and used every second of it.

I'd like to see the rates all you kids get in school. Let's see you complain about a 75% score there. I, for one, think its pretty good.

Getting this game. I read the review and believe it's my kind of game.

Free-to-play does not exist!

Why does EA like it? Micro transactions! And they like micro transactions because:

- It encourages buying on impulse. It's only a small amount and you are in the heat of the moment.

- It's very hard to keep track of your total expenses when constantly paying small amounts. People will almost certainly end up paying more for games than before while receiving exactly the same or less.

- It helps to squeeze every last Euro from people. Example: Someone with only €20,- in his/her account cannot buy a €50,- game but can buy twenty €1 parts of a game.

- You can create an unfair advantage for people who are willing to spend an extra amount for a new weapon pack, virtually forcing others to do the same.

- The 2nd hand market will be obliterated, as you cannot trade downloadable content.

Commerce... It takes markets a step ahead but in the meantime consumes their souls.

Definitely getting this.

Love the games, love the lore and will most likely love this DLC.

@wescraven You're missing the point. I'm not talking about similar games at the same time or about what people will buy. I'm talking about letting a story rest when it's done and then coming up with a new story. Halo 4, Deadspace 3, remake this, remake that, devs are producing as many games as possible on the same IP, just to make money. And it works, I have to give them that.

But to keep something authentic and strong, you should know when to stop. There is no (official at least) Lord of the Rings story about Sauron rising again. Why, because he's gone, he's dead, it's over. I wish we could still do that, but apparently we can't. I think that's a shame.

See here one of the biggest downsides of a commercialized industry, yet another Halo game. It would be so much nicer if they would just come up with something new. Sure, the game will probably be pretty good, but I've seen it all before. Sigh... Maybe I'm just getting old...
