Graphics look good to me, it is the more subtle improvements that make the difference such as improved lighting and the draw distance. In fact the only thing I thought was lacking presentation wise was the awkward one sided conversation with the palyer's squadmate that has been in so many cod games before.
A pretty slick marketing strategy to encourage people to buy the game at launch. The 'Free' will likely drop from it a month or two after the game has been out. But if you wait til the price drops to pick it up, you probably won't mind the loss of the faction or paying the 5 dollars they will ask for it then. All in all not a bad set up for anyone in today's dlc driven industry.
