and attract new comers to the series.Carlson ChoiI hope they don't go overboard with this though, that's recipe for disaster.
To expect developers to construct entire different scenarios to games which already cost millions of dollars to produce is absurd, and reeks of entitlement.megadeth1117When they say that choices matter, I think I'm entitled to choices that matter.
[QUOTE="BPoole96"]Can you start steam into BPM? Yes, it's an option under interface.Big Picture Mode is awesome. I like the UI much better than PSN. I'm curious if Valve will start adding apps like Netflix and all that so there wouldn't be a need to exit BPM for users with HTPCs

All games releasing from now should come with controller support, IMO. It's good to give gamers the choice of different control schemes, it would help to expand the PC market and attract potential consolites.

most games where it's appropriate already do come with controller support. eve crysis, a 2008 game, has it built in.
All of the games that have the 'games for windows' logo on the box are supposed to have controller support.
Of course when you buy on steam you don't get a box:P
On Steam it should have a bullet for "controller support" on the store page in that case, by the single-player/multi-player stuff. But just looking at a few games that do in fact support controllers, this isn't always the case.Quite a bit already have controller support, at least the multiplats do. A shame it's usually forced to the X360 layout, and not customizable. Just a simple menu where you configure what button does what would be best, like Steam does if you configure your controller for the big picture mode. And at least some non multiplats have open control settups, so even if it isn't made for a controller, it would still be able to play with a controller. All games releasing from now should come with controller support, IMO. Its superficial to say a story is a sequence of events. A story is a sequence of events that does something, and what it does it put ideas into readers heads, or people who are observing the story. Dark Souls does that in a lot of places Sens Fortress and The Painted World are examples; f*ck the entire shape of Anor Londo is another example by using setting and theme and gameplay interactions. It uses all of those things to put ideas in your head the same way that linear text would put ideas in your head, but it uses gameplay to do it. I dont think it goes particularly far with this idea, but it goes in a direction that I think is substantially more valuable than linear storyline in video games.Shawn McGrathCompletely agree. Games shouldn't use just linear stories, but use the gameplay to tell a story. Linear stories should be reserved for books and movies.
The USB ports are only a 2.0 and not 3.0 so they can only support a 250gb extrernal drive at the most, and the minimum most retailers sell is the 500gb which won't work on the Wii-U, because almost all devices are using 3.0 USB.Slimmin360So my 1TB external 2.0 is a lie or something?
