I'm pretty sure it's because people don't want to see it.bededog

Personally I don't mind it at all. There are many much more disgusting things people do in public, like smoke weed, stink with their sweat, etc

Im so very very glad that it is. Generally speaking, the only people low class enough to bang in public would be those you wouldn't want to see. raven_squad

I would do it, but I am not low class

I mean it's not illegal to kiss with tongues in public. Why is it that having sex is illegal in public?

If I try doing it, my penis gets in a way... I don't know how some guys manage to do that.. Perhaps their buddy is too small.

[QUOTE="Lokantis"][QUOTE="xTheExploited"] Do you mean that as a question or a statement? Because I don't quite understand what you are saying. If its a question then I'll just say, you never know.xTheExploited

You were saying that any scientific discovery may have a use in future even if it doesn't have any use now. Same with cloning. Maybe it doesn't have much use right now, but who knows, perhaps it will be useful in future?

Yeah, I think we are agreeing, but I'm still a little confused. :P I said in my first post that cloning is pretty pointless now but we should continue to study it and learn how to perfect it, along the lines.

You are saying that we should study human cloning more before we do the actual human cloning experiments?

You cannot gaurantee that. You are speculating, just as I am. I am just stating that there is a great chance of abuse. And why wouldn't there be? Putting the humane treatment of human clones aside, there is another significant danter: Every great scientific achievement has founds it's way into implementation by military organizations.

So they will be mostly recruiting clones in the army. But even the military cannot just massively clone humans to make them soldiers. They would still have to go through the voluntary recruiting process because clones would still be considered normal humans.

You assume they would be considered normal humans. That's not necessarily true. Nobody knows what status clones would receive. It's just as likely they would be considered second-class, or sub-human, because they would be nothing more than copies.

That would have to be decided by the government of whatever country that makes the first official human clone. In my opinion human clones should not have any different human status than regular humans. I think the majority of the planet would agree with that. But again, that's wouldn't be our decision, but the decision of House of Representatives or the equivilent of it in another country.

That applies to human cloning also.

[QUOTE="StrawberryHill"]That's a difficult question to answer. In short, I'm going to say I'm against cloning humans because I can see human clones being abused. Although they would be sentient beings, I think many people would argue that they are not fully human because they are replicas, and therefore, there would be no harm in doing painful experiments on them. In other words, they would be treated as chattle and ultimately expendable. I think cloning human beings would turn out to be a potentially dangerous enterprise. StrawberryHill

But that would be against human rights. Clones are still humans and they would still have all the rights and responsibilities listed in laws and constitutuion. Any serious offense or discrimination against them would be considered racism. Same as it was with african americans. At first they were slaves but with time, people realized that they are humans too.

You cannot gaurantee that. You are speculating, just as I am. I am just stating that there is a great chance of abuse. And why wouldn't there be? Putting the humane treatment of human clones aside, there is another significant danter: Every great scientific achievement has founds it's way into implementation by military organizations.
