[QUOTE="ArcticWolf77"][QUOTE="moose_knuckler"]Just to let you know, Final Fantasy was "stolen" from Sony to begin with. They brought up more money to Square and Nintendo didn't want to match that offer and now we're here. Quantum Theory became multiplat via the company's decision that they figured they couldn't make a profit on being PS3 alone. Midnightshade29
How old are you? Final Fantasy was around way before Sony made consoles
i have been a gamer since way before the First FF game or DQ game came out, I played Ultima on a apple iic ..yeah.. anyway FF didn't leave nintendo because Sony paid for it. No they left nintenodo because Nintendo didn't grow it refused to leave the out-dated cartridge format behind...all the way until last gen! Square went with Sony for FF7 so they could make a better looking game in the then new 3d. FF7 could not of been done on the n64.. the carts didn't hold much storage and were expensive! Nintendo GC was still didn't learn as it had half sized dvds that didn't play movies..hell the wii still can't play DVDs...lol.. off topic at the end but i had to. If iwata wasn't Square Enix pres and it was just Squaresoft I doubt they would of taken the dirty M$ bribe money... just going by how back then they went with the better hardware to make a better game... times have changed. Luckily some people at square are still in control which is why FF13vs is still exclusive.I'm sorry, all I heard was 'moo moo moo moo moo moo moo
Do you honestly think any company cares about you? Because thats what it sounds like. They're a business and their main goal is to make money. And you talk about better hardware? Tell me, who had the better hardwar last gen? Oh my God, it couldn't be...the Xbox! Oh wait it was, and the PS2 had the weakest hardware, but did the Final Fantasy devs go flocking to the Xbox with its better hardware to 'bring the best quality of their games?' As a matter of fact, PS2 had the most AAAE titlesover theXbox and Gamecube last gen, yet the weakest hardware. Or does last gen suddenly not exist anymore?
And you talk about playing movies. Wow. I could've sworn video game consoles were made to play video games, I'm not sure though...I'll have to look into this.
