Damn near perfect, in my opinion.

Gears of War 2 was a pretty big let down on the multiplayer front and even with all the current patches it still doesnt feel right. However, the beta fixes everything and is very polished. Apparently 1.4 million people played the beta, so it's going to be huge.

There's still lots of shotguns, but Gears has always been about shotguns; something that is almost never used in other games.

I agree completely. It was definitely a move in the right direction after Gears 2.

It's easy to look at yourself in the mirror when you're beautiful. I also agree with the comment about arousal and taking shirts off. Also, don't you like looking in mirrors when you work out? Yes. :D

True most does have that, however there is alot that does not.

IMO rap/hiphop is the best genre, I respect everyones opinion on music though, and there is no point arguing over it, as it's all personal prefence.

the fps genre isnt a bad genre, just at the moment it is very poor but somehow really popular i dont know if anyone body here played cod2 or cod4 competively, but if you did then you know how awesome those games were. when you play clan matches your know your team and only go for the win, capping flags and getting the bomb plant off, using teamwork and communication to outsmart your oppenent. playing clan matches was amazing in these games for simple reasons: teams played to win, the maps were good and decent (relatively small comapred to new cods) sized with a fast pace, simple gameplay e.g. no rpg's, killstreaks, 3x frag etc. playing like this increased my enjoyment of the games ten fold. i havent played a public match in years not even sure what my point is. just that if fps focused more on this side rather than silly rc cars and neverending maps, and get systems in place where the matches REQUIRE teamwork and communication and where you will get rewarded heavily for your wins, instead of sitting in corners waiting until your chopper has gotten enough kills for your AC130 oh and also, get rid of stats. k/d ratios and such. these only promote selfish gamingtheSteeeeels

Not sure how many people would agree with you about the "getting rid of stats" idea. I would bet that the majority of gamers like seeing how well they do in whichever games they play.

Ouch. I feel sorry for you. Luckily, I was able to mostly dodge OOP when I got my degree.

Oh My God. I never thought this was going to happen! This is a little of a shock to me since I spend 1300$ on a gaming pc last year, but oh well pc has hundreds of more things to do. The thing is that every game looks boring and the same crap, and after 1 hour or less, I get bored. The thing is that sometimes I feel a lot like gaming, but somehow my games dont satisfy me (and I have great titles like mass effect, half-life, team fortress, grand theft auto, world of warcraft) So is this a sign for me to look for a new hobby?

Yep, time for a new hobby. If you get a strong urge to game, then maybe try expanding into a different genre.

I think it really helps create a sense of reality in a storyline, as long as it is for the storyline and isn't an attempt to affect real-life politics (like supporting or taking shots at a political figure to help or hurt them).

I heard that if you install Castlevania on the hard drive, you don't have to swap discs. I don't have it so I don't know for sure but I thought that I read something to that effect. This could be the answer to disc swapping if more companies would actually implement it.

Normally I would agree that swapping discs is not a huge deal, but I have LoS and I found this to be annoying, too.

I actually see that as disappointing. I was hoping for a full blown sequel.
