I'm looking forward to MW3, and unlike most, for the campaign. I loved the first 2 games, and thought MW2 had its flaws, it was still a damn good game (SP). Anyone else excited for SP MW3?

I am excited for both SP and MP. Both will be great.

basically a gamer where gaming is like a full time joblamprey263

You have to be good, too. You can play all day long but it isn't hardcore if you're terrible.

[QUOTE="kuraimen"] If he was a threat then it's ok he was shot but the story has been changed so much that it seems they are just making excuses. I will always think that a trial is the right way to procede even if it ends in death penalty.kuraimen

If he was a threat... So you don't think OBL was a threat? Also, it is difficult to fight a war when your enemy is an organization that hides in the general peaceful population whom we aren't at war with. Having said that, we are at war with al-Qaeda. OBL was the al-Qaeda number one. Is everyone put on trial during a time of war? Or are they killed (because it is, after all, a war)? OBL is no different. When you are pulled into a war, you kill the enemy. There is no need for a trial. When he (himself) declared war against the United States, he sealed his own fate as an enemy combatant. There is no debate about this.

Of course there's a debate we are having one. And who says everyone should stick with the rules of war set by the wealthy western nations? maybe a lot of people don't care or want to follow those rules. I meant if OBL was a threat in the moment the operation was going on, maybe he was or maybe he wasn't. There is always need for a trial otherwise we have to accept what one side tells us without questioning. The principle of a trial is to set the record straight that what one side accuses the other is true. Nobody put those 3000 people killed on 9/11 on a trial before they killed them but should we just accept they were killed just because someone called them their enemy? I think and hope not

War wasn't exactly defined by western nations. War has existed as long as man has. Or are you going to argue that, too? It's like talking to a wall. You bring up the fact that everyone deserves a trial to decide what is "true" and what is just an accusation. Were you under a rock when he gladly and proudly took claim and responsibility to killing 3,000 people in one attack? There is nothing to prove or disprove by means of a trial like you suggest because of your "principle."

You may disagree if you want. That doesn't make you right except in the eyes of radicals that started the war by declaring it and then taking action. Consider all the facts.

Take Iraq for example. Saddam was put on trial for crimes against his own people. His own people (the ones who he wronged) found him guilty and had him hanged.

Now consider OBL. Why would we put him on trial? He declared war, on behalf of al-Qaeda, against the Americans (keep in mind, ALL Americans, innocent civilians and government/military alike) and made it his work to wage that war. It isn't the same as having the leader of your own country kill your own people and then them put him on trial for it.

OBL planned and led an attack (remember, this is a war according to OBL's own declaration) that killed many, and we attacked back. It is war. When you are attacked, you attack back. You don't attack with trials. You attack with a bullet to the left eye. There is no trial.

Political correctness will be the ultimate downfall of this country.

[QUOTE="AmazonTreeBoa"]

I have been with my girl 18 years on 8/10/11. We get along just as well today as we did the day we met. We have two daughters together. I met her the summer before she started 9th grade and have been together from then on. Not cheating on each other, doing things together a lot, not trying to control each other, being responsible with the money, honest, and trust are the most important things to a good relationship if you as me. Also talk about things, not keep them bottled up until you blow. And if you are a guy, do NOT try to control your girl, they don't like that. And never hit her (especially in front of me :P).

AmazonTreeBoa

Nice advice. 'Bout to tie the knot, here.

Thanks

Seeing you are getting married, then clearly you are in a serious relationship, so one more thing. When it comes to money, be sure to keep it this way even if only one of you are working......Your money is your money AND her money. Her money is her money AND your money. I see a lot of couples split because they fight over the money because they don't want to share. Can't build a future together stay split like that. Work as a team instead and always have each others back I have seen money break up many relationships. me and my girl always work as a team and have a shared checking account.......One more thing. Buying her flowers isn't as important as telling her you love her. :P

Couldn't agree more. I think it's sad that it is so hard to find someone with these type of ideals, though. Thankfully, I was fortunate to find one of the few. Couldn't be happier.

[QUOTE="Glow-Stick"]

[QUOTE="kuraimen"] Well then good to know the US can declare anyone they want public enemy number 1 if they want to kill them without any formal proof or trial. What if Pakistan declares a US citizen public enemy number 1 then? I guess they can kill them whenever they like by any means they like and we shall celebrate and they shouldn't be considered terrorists. As a matter of fact didn't bin laden declare the US their number 1 enemy? so why did we complain about 9/11 since enemies can be killed without further justification or trial? kuraimen

Are you even American? We all wanted him dead. Just because he was unarmed doesn't mean he cannot be shot. Would you hesitate to shoot the most wanted man in the world and not capture him? I think anyone would say yes. Last point; how did the soldiers know he wasn't or was armed? He could've been strapped with explosives, and you cannot take chances in order for "fairness"

If he was a threat then it's ok he was shot but the story has been changed so much that it seems they are just making excuses. I will always think that a trial is the right way to procede even if it ends in death penalty.

Oh really? Only 17 hours? Where did you hear that?? I would assume that it would at least be as long as GTA4, about 40 hours long.

HilbillyRokstar

You can't know how long it's going to be. If you're really interested in it then get it for that reason alone. Don't worry about exactly how many hours it will take YOU to finish the game.

You sound like one of those fools that bought a Yugo. I drive a Toyota, I like things to last, that is a BIG part of the value.

Haha. No, I don't have a Yugo. And I agree that a Toyota holds its value. I like things that last, too. My point was that he should get the game regardless of how many hours it takes. The fact that you claim it is only 17 hours is irrelevent. It depends on if someone blows through the game or does every little thing that determines how long it really takes. So, if he is really interested in the game, it shouldn't matter if he spends 17 hours on the game or 10. It isn't the same as comparing a $60 game to a car. Also, sometimes the quality of the game can bring more value than the length of the game. I would much rather play a 10 hour game that is amazing than play a 17 hour game that sucks just because it has length.

Some people I've grown up with have stopped gaming where I still love to game. The problem when you get older is finding time. Some people just don't care enough to keep up. Some people can't find the time. It's all up to the individual. I don't think that people just stop because they hit a certain number.
