No, its really not true. The worst it can do is make your graphics card not be able to reach its full potential. I don't want that to sound like its a big deal becuase we are talking about maybe 5 FPS. Also, even if you do bottleneck you wont notice any lagging, stuttering, crashing or anything else that would make a game unplayable.

Actually, I'm using the custimize your PC thing, and it would include a graphics card of 8800gt and a AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200. I wouldn't include a monitor from them, because I already have this 1440 x 900 monitor that I got not to long ago, so i'd use that. I think i'd run Crysis pretty good with this, though I don't doubt it feels cool to make your own rig... I don't know if im ready for that yet.

Well the specs I got it to on their site, would run crysis on high, and it would cost $1349. I don't feel safe building my own PC, I mean, I know people who spent like $3000 dollars on their PC that can only run crysis on high. So this doesn't seem like a bad deal...TheGrayEye
