Well its kinda straightforward but just look at some guides. If you do get Dell, it will be very difficult to upgrade it because they use BTX and weird form factors. But yea look up some PC building guides, specially the corsair one (A bit old but still pretty good :)) and trust me its alot worth it because its ALOT cheaper and you get to pick exactly what you want and you dont have bloatware that Dell and HP pack in.Would you think it would be confusing and a somewhat risk for a person who probably knows nothing of what he's doing to build a computer? Is it pretty straightforward on building or is it complicated?
yeah, I checked Dell out.. that was one of my options, but I just thought I would get some expert help/advice before I go buy something that wouldn't be good at all. But is Dell alright to buy from?

INTEL core2 duo cpu, 2 gigs of ram, nvidia geforce 8600 video card, and dual 120 gig hard drives.SirephDownload the latest drivers if you havent already. Thats all I can think of. If your not getting the performance you want its because you have a med end card they arent meant for maxing games at high resolutions only lower ones like 1024x768 and 1280x1024.
[QUOTE="LouieV13"][QUOTE="bdever32"]$30 my ass, closer to $80,he said BOTH Video Card AND PSU.[QUOTE="Indestructible2"][QUOTE="blazethe1"]totally worth the extra $30 for a 3850Indestructible2
Still worth an extra $80 if the guy can save up a little more.
He'd have to save more than 80$ he needs a psu too. Reading is your friend. His $150 budget INCLUDES a PSU already (Antec Earthwatts 380W for under $50 is FTW!) so its still around $80.Reading is your friend
I know... nvm :|
