@rolento25: Have to factor in my post was a year ago. I double checked the article date and surprisingly it's now Dec 3, 2021, that's yesterday... They might be updating the date if they update the article? Also strange that I wrote "...going forwards into 2020." Wonder if they are just altering the same article each year?

Anyways, when I made my comment the two games had not been released yet. :-)

@liquiddaylight: I don't have the game but I've seen some videos on it and I gotta say, that surprises me! That's great you can do this. Of course with every new card most games can't take advantage of every new feature till a few years out. (Though there is always some showcase game that they update just to show off the new GPU.) That's why I don't get too bummed being behind the curve. Plus, does it seem like new cards are coming out really fast? It does to me... Oh well, we'll both get new ones eventually and then play the "what GPU card do you have?" game all over. ;-)

@liquiddaylight: Same here, my current PC runs with a GTX 1080 and honestly all is well. I admit I'm a bit behind on the newest games so what I'm playing runs quite well. Yes I love that with a new card you can "turn on" every every graphics feature and one day I will do that again. But to lower a few settings isn't a game ender.

Playing GTA trained him for just this situation! That's how this has to be spun. You'll be so prepared you can fight naked! ;-)

@dragonsama: Exact same thoughts. I looked at this and the only horror the viewer will feel is the awful animation. Looks like a bad Saturday morning cartoon. (Okay, I'm old, I grew up with cartoons on TV on Saturday.) ;-)

Thank you for this video. I played the trilogy years ago and unfortunately forgot many of the finer details. This video really brought a lot back. Wow, what an epic saga. I rarely replay games, but I will be buying the Legendary edition and will find time to replay it all.

I came late to Mass Effect, but after playing it I see what all those that like it saw. An amazing universe with a great cast of characters and a heck of a story.

> ...Martin's deal covers five years and is said to be in the "mid-eight figure" range. That means the deal is worth at least $10 million.

So it's between $10 million and $99 million, as he said mid-eight figure, I'll peg it being from $40 to $60 million. Dang, that's nice. Now, he better get to creating.

Oops, that means our chance of getting his next Game of Thrones book is now pushed even further out. Maybe his publisher should offer him $75 million for the final volumes and we'll get them in 3 years tops. Just have to outbid for his attention. ;-)

@AlienMinator: Agree with everything you wrote here. I think these folks can't sell their own material then see a chance with a property that is farther along. So they hijack it for their own, riding its coattails.

The Witcher, augh. I was so confused... Of course all my friends that treated me like I was slow couldn't grasp that I had no background in the material. They had read the books and played the games. (I have the games, but not played yet.) My brother and his wife wanted to like it but bailed. I wonder how many viewers were lost similarly?

Lastly, I understand that each area of media is different and sometimes some changes are needed. But I see it more as an excuse to go off the rails vs really making a property work in the manner of the story telling they choose to create in.

Hahaha. First world problem. Hahaha

Master Yoda would have a field day with the whinings of this article. "Patience to wait, lacking? Spoilers, bring you fear?" <His cute laugh> "A Jedi complains not, of a midnight drop of a show. Eats at you, the dark side does..."

Honestly, I watch the episodes Friday evening (west coast of the US). And I'm retired! I could stay up, I could watch during the day. But nope, TV for me is an evening activity. No issue staying away from the articles for <gasp> one day. Easy to tell friends, "stop, haven't seen it yet..."

I hope Disney does not change this. This could be a test for folks. "If this release schedule brings you stress, you may have a problem..." Oh, and I agree with everyone here pointing out Gamespot's hypocrisy as they continually post spoilers in their article titles.

Great choice. HL:A to me was "game" changing. It showed me the heights that gaming can reach. And yes, on a VR platform. Sorry for those that can't play it yet, but someday you will. It's amazing.
