Pretty sure Newegg has it for $30. To each their own. I definitely enjoyed this game but I'm a hardcore FF fan and biased. I think objectively it's still a decent game though. The story could be better but I think the game was fun to play overall and that's what matters the most to me.

I'm not understanding why people are preordering this....Shouldn't you be able to find ONE of these controllers at launch at ANY of the major retailers around you (Target, Best Buy, Walmart, Gamestop, etc.)? Just seems strange to me to be pre-ordering accessories. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong because I'm definitely lost on this one.

The first one was amazing and was a pleasant breath of fresh air. This is looking good! Doubt they'll ruin it. Just make the AI of the party members good.

What they REALLY need to fix is controlling and landing that god-awful airship. Don't know whose awful idea that was.

No. If I wanted to play a platform game I'd go find something infinitely times better to play. In the first 10 seconds of this video I said, "okay, he already talks too much". This company doesn't get it. When people think of Sonic, they think of the 90's and what the sonic games of that generation were like. None of this attacking walls and opening chests garbage.

I don't get why this company can't simply recapture the essence of those games and just update the graphics. Generations was the last game they put out that was remarkably close. Is this really rocket science?

@MAXTHUNDER99 @LoveBird- If you want to play a game for its story, go play an RPG. With that said, stories in action games come second to their gameplay. To those talking about DMC, you're right, but DMC fell off with DMC4.

I am not surprised at all by the perfect scores this game has been getting. Have you played the demo? For a long time, God of War has defined this genre. This game makes God of War look like garbage. Sounds like this game has re-defined the genre. Sorry folks, deal with it.
