Anyone Remember Sega! Online?

You payed a monthly fee and got games via phone jack I think. (Maybe coax cable; it's been awhile).

They had Pirates! Gold for that and I loved that game. Sid Meier's Pirates was good too, but not on par with anything Rockstar could do.

I would love to see them make a Pirate game, but it would be difficult to separate it from the others and not make it repetitive. The sailing and treasure hunting is fun for awhile, but seeing a ship from the top view the entire game gets boring.

I just finished Grand Theft Auto V....err I mean Red Dead Redemption.

The games I am considering starting on next are Demon's Souls, Killzone 2, Bioshock 1 and 2, Little Big Planet, or Alan Wake. Yeah believe it or not I have never played Bioshock except for like the first hour or two on the PC. I have been meaning to play all of these games for awhile, but so many good games have come out lately I keep getting side tracked. Not to mention I have a real life and can't play video games all the time.

Really I think it is coming down to Demon's Souls and Alan Wake (I realize this is a PS3 forum, but all the other games are on the PS3). I want to play Killzone 2 before KZ3 comes out and I want to play the Bioshock series at some point, but I think I need to wait until I have some time off work to start that out because I hear each game can take up to 20 hours to beat if you do all the side missions and I tend to do everything in games.

But I am looking to be sold on a particular game so let me know what you guys think. I will take suggestions on other games to play too. I haven't played the Resistance series yet, but I have them as well. Also I have God of War 1-3 as well that I have never played. (I just got a PS3 and I only owned a PS2 for a few months before I traded it for an xbox; I normally get games for the 360 unless it is PS3 exclusive for reasons I won't go into, but should be obvious). I am willing to buy any game really, but just assume I have played and beat most of the more famous ones. Thanks for the input.

Uncharted 1 and 2.

At points they are both a bit Disney in their storyline especially the romance angles and it is hard to imagine continuous mistakes being made by "experts", but these two games kept me engaged like few others have recently.

Games like Infamous and Prototype are some of the most fun games I have ever played, but their storylines are terrible. Then Halo and Gears of War Resistance and Killzone 2 plus the Call of Duty series are awesome games, but just because of action and not because of storyline. BC2 had a terrible storyline, but it is the best FPS I have played in awhile.

Storyline wise you can't go wrong with any MGS game although MGS4 was the worst IMO. It isn't bad, but MGS 1 and 2 set a standard so high that it is hard to equal them. I can't really comment on older games because it has been so long. I know that certain Zelda games kept my attention and GTA games have always had great storylines. GTA IV was amazing, but I think that the later episodes suffered storyline wise. The Lost and Damned could've been amazing, but they made it Johnny too Jax in Sons of Anarchy. If you are in a biker gang you probably relish blowing stuff up instead of want to constantly argue with your boss about it. If they had made it more of a power struggle based on money or something else instead of conscience I think it would've been a truly great story. However, GTA IV and the subsequent DLC was probably the best game of this Gen right behind MGS4. I don't get all the complaining about lack of weapons and gimmicks. GTA IV was just as revolutionary as GTA III just in more subtle ways.
