He mentioned a while back that they have at least three games in development, although I don't remember if that included BBS or not. Definitely keeping on eye out for any news on that front.

Wow great post and interview man, thanks!
I like hearing this from Miyamoto as well. Although I worry he's reffering to more casual friendly games like Wii Sports and the like. Now THAT would be depressing. I'd like him to get back to making games for us gamers. Both sequels and ne IPs alike.
Darth-Samus
Is that supposed to say that people who play Wii Sports and the like aren't real gamers? :|
I heard on wiki it said that dead or alive were making another game called dead or alive code chronos and it for the xbox 360 and it is a fighting game
gangstafc
That's great and all, but we're talking about the PSP here, not the 360.
I guess if they add that option, then you make much sense. Yes. Good post.[QUOTE="outworld222"][QUOTE="BuckenBerry"]
I'm pretty sure the 3DS will still play games in 2D just like the DS Lite. Surely there's an option to disable/not use the 3D graphic and stick to traditional 2D, right?
BuckenBerry
It's only a hunch but Nintendo won't give up on 2D gaming so quickly like that. I think the 3DS is supposed to be enjoying the benefits of both dimensions working together.
They DID say it would be backwards compatible, so there should be the normal 2D for at least DS/DSi games.

So I have always been a little intrigued by Strategy RPG games, but never really got into them. I tried one or two but quickly found myself overwhelmed and gave up. Now I am looking for something new to play and was thinking of giving an SRPG another try. My question is what would be some good starter SRPG for the DS that might be gooid for a beginner looking to get into the genre?
Icare0
SRPG is a rather big genre, but i suppose FFTA2 is aways a good choice. Exactly which games you've tried?
I'd also recommend Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon. It has a great tutorial at the beginning that should help you get set up with the basics, and the first playthrough on Easy shouldn't be TOO tough.
And I have memory sticks also, is it possible to transfer files from a different memory stick to another without having to connect your PSP to the computer?Rocketnuma
Technically speaking, yes. You'd have to transfer the files from one stick to the computer, and then from the computer to the other stick. Some computers have an adaptor for the memory sticks, if not you need an adaptor, at which point it would just be easier to connect your PSP to the computer.
LinkHere's the GameInformer's article and the collection of pics. Looks pretty awesome if it's real. Only thing I worry about is how easily the screen would get damaged...it'd need some sort of case to go with it to protect that.
For someone like me, getting ready for college and saving as much money as possible, I don't find the XL a necessary purchase at the moment. I'm going to have a hard enough time getting a 3DS as it is. But with the XL, the only thing that really improves is screen size and maybe audio. Not worth the 100 dollars I'd have to pay after trading in a DSi.
Aside the obvious 3DS showing,
- New Fire Emblem game- no remakes this time, preferably.
- New Mario game- please let it be harder/longer than NSMB...
- Luigi's Mansion DS (one can dream)
- Perhapsa Final Fantasy remake or something similar
- Kingdom Hearts game
- More info on Golden Sun DS (should have been out already
