I'm looking into buying laptops for myself and my little sister, and we're probably settling with VAIOs. The store gives us Windows Vista 64-bit as standard, and has the option for the Business 32 + XP disc. I remember reading something about the 64 bit being incompatible with some games and software. Is this true? Also, what is the difference between the 64 bit OS and the 32 bit OS? If somebody could explain it, or point out a site that does, I'd be really grateful
[QUOTE="Luwker"]People say a lot about women in Brazil, but if you want the truth, here it is: There are a lot of beatiful women here, but 90% of them aren't Brazilian Hot, "big stuff", like the kinda stuff you'd hear about in a 50 Cent song, but are mostly European/American hot, blonde and brown hair.Penguin_dragon
Um... What?
Filmography commented that since I live in Brazil I get to see hot women in bikinis all the time, I was just getting him up to par witht the women. Sorry about the off-topic
Welll the only factors that affects whether or not you can run a graphics card is you motherboard. But if you get the best of anything you would feel a real setback with the rest of your components. A 2.0 cpu might be fine if it were dual core, but even then it would hold you back. You might also want to upgrade to a total of 2GB of ram. Penguin_dragon
How much would that cost on average? Prices in dollars are OK, I just want some reference

Ok, I see. Now, I'm aware that my processor is crap, but will these cards run with 1GB RAM, or do I need more? Also, how strong of a processor should I get? Is 2.0 good enough? Oh yeah, I'm 15, gathering money is kinda out of the question, I'm kinda relying on b-days and the such. Thanks P.S. It's not that I'm lazy or spoiled, it's just that here in this third world hell, being a middle/upper class citizen, it's really hard to find a job or anything of the sort without risking myself A LOT.
My PC is not built for gaming. It's a regular PC. With this setup, it runs BF2 smoothly, which, from what I've gathered, is no small feat. But then of course, I know close to zero about these things, so I might be and probably am wrong. Also, I forgot to mention that I live in this hellhole called brazil, where, thanks to it's crappy third world Per Capita and corrupt government, things like games and PC parts are a bit more expensive, and don't have such a large market, so some apparel never actually get here. Any advice would be appreciated
Sry for the double post. I've always thought GeForce was a brand of NVidia's, but now I'm seeing GeForce cards from other manufacturers, like XFX, Zogis, and stuff like that. Could somebody explain? Once again, thanks
