Keep in mind I'll mostly use this for indie games and SOME last gen/older games.

To you and OP, get the Sony XB-500. Same thing as beats but cheaper and are more comfortable.

Do you think the extra 1 ghz is worth losing two gigs of ram/vice versa?

[QUOTE="superclocked"]These are the best 2 that I could find for under $600. You won't be able to crank up the settings to max, but either one should play any game out there... $599.99 - Acer Aspire V3-571G-6602 Intel Core i5-2450M 2.5GHz 4GB DDR3 NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M 15.6" screen $529.99 - Acer Aspire AS7560G-7622 AMD A6-3420M 1.5GHz 6GB DDR3 AMD Radeon HD 7670M 17.3" screen

Thanks a lot! I'll look into those.

Like I said I mostly play indy games. My netbook wit 2 gb of ram and a 512 mb video card (ACER ASPIRE ONE) can handle Amnesia and Deus ex, And Fallout somewhat (but it lags like hell in gunfights, but i use VATS anyway).

How could it not be prebuilt? It's got an i3 and HD3000 GPU...superclocked
I'm a complete noob at this stuff :P As long as I have about 4gb of ram a good video card (1 gb) It'll be ok for low intensity games?

[QUOTE="Lyncaster"][QUOTE="superclocked"]My laptop was only $600, and it plays games just fine at 720p. My desktop is much better of course, but Intel integrated graphics chips have come a very long way...superclocked
What games do you play? How old is your laptop?

I mainly play Starcraft 2 on it. It's only a few months old. It has an HD3000 GPU. I can't crank the graphics up to maximum, but I get 60fps using low shaders and high texture quality (ultra texture quality is a waste at 720p)...

So not pre built? If so, whats the model/
