I prefer the grittier look Black Ops has going that World At War started.The Treyarch releases seem to have stronger textures whilst the Infinity Ward releases seem to have better lighting.

3D : An expensive gimmick.Nintendo have the right idea,a much cheaper non-glasses alternative,nobody wants to wear those nerdy glasses to play games..etc..

@TheJamin Yes his PC cost almost what you'd expect to pay for a small car!.I agree on all the points you just pointed out.I'll be getting all 3 of the games I've mentioned but on PS3 though. By the way,thank you for replying in a mature manner by discussing opinions and not throwing abuse my way that I so often see on Gamespot :)

@TheRussianOne They often rate a game based on what the fans expect it to get.That's also why MW2 was given the same score as Bad Company 2 yet if you play both you can clearly see that BC2 is a better game.Episode 2 deserved a 10 tbh.

@TheJamin Here you go: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zyjt2rCOHe8 I have no idea which systems Rage and Crysis 2 are in this video but it serves it's purpose.Killzone 3 seems to have alot more depth and a much more detailed environment;Crysis 2 looks good but it's textures look a bit flat.Rage has superb environments but is behind Crysis 2 and Killzone 3s gun graphics.Naturally,on a PC the resolution will be alot higher but the core visual style remains fairly similar.

@TheJamin My younger brother's an on off PC gamer on a highend Alienware PC;I have no real idea of the actual specs because PC gaming really isn't my scene.The Wii modding community is robust offering new content weekly like a regular service would. I never said PC and console games where "on par",I said they aren't far off and the gap has been closing year by year (largely down to devs not pushing PC tech). Crysis 2 on all systems (including PC) looks at best on a par with Crysis 1.Crysis 1 is indeed a 3year old game that still remains at the top in the graphics departement;that in itself shows how the PC isn't getting the games to push them.Killzone 3 and GT5 don't seem to have many jagged edges,blurring effects or not,if it looks good and plays well,who cares how they acheive it? Killzone 2s facial details were better then that seen on Crysis 1;Rage also has better facial detail.As I said,PC gaming is dying.PC gamers will argue that Starcraft,Diablo and Valve Corp titles are still selling strong but you cannot base the sales from such a small selection of games.As far as Valve are concerned,most of their titles are already on consoles or on their way in the near future.PC has all the tech but alot less games worth playing.

@TheJamin Warhead wasn't a very good game full stop.Crysis 1 on a maxed but it's not mind blowing anymore,especially when you consider the hardware it takes to run it.With less hardware you can get similar results on consoles,even the 360 version on Crysis 2 doesn't look far off the mark. PC gaming IS dying,all gaming PC sales figures include the majority of people who just use them as a regular computer because of the upgraded specs. Just compare PC games with console games every time the consoles have released its successors.The gap has been shrinking year by year.In particular the last two gens,even when the PS1 was around the PC was already getting proper 3D shooters.Now,PCs don't get much support and modding communities are cropping up on the consoles,notably Wii homebrew.It's not on par with PC yet but judging how fast consoles are improving,it won't be long.

There isn't much difference....;the Halo engine is showing its age.No denying it doesn't look dreadful but Gears 3 looks better as far as the 360 is concerned. Lol @ the PC fanboys.They seem to forget that PC gaming for starters is diminishing,less developers and reviewers are backing PC anymore.Crysis even on a high end PC isn't that far ahead of games like Killzone 3 and GT5 on PS3.Crysis 2 doesn't look graphically that much better then the original.Games aren't being developped to take full potential of a high end PC making it a waste of money.It has all the specs but none of the games to test it. Games sell a system not specs,the PS2 is proof of that.The PC is just starting to lack good games when compared to what the consoles offer.PC was king in the past but consoles are taking over.

DLC is the future in the sense that games won't be disc format anymore.3D on the other hand isn't the future of anything apart from perhaps cinemas.Nobody wants to wear the nerdy glasses when watching TV..
