Actually. Current gen is next gen seing how we are living now and not in the past.

And the fact that the Wii has hardware rated somewhere around th last Xbox is nothing new. It is still the next generation of consoles. Generation has nothing to do with quality, but to do with when it was released.

Eh no. It's current gen because it came out around the same time as the PS3 and the 360. If it came out at the same time as the PS2 and the xbox, then it would be past or last gen.

Why am I repeating myself?

The graphics on the Wii are consider to be last gen. Anyway the point I was trying to say is that demand for the Wii is going to go way down next year when the more advance games are out for the 360 and PS3.

Nintendo could have released a damn caluclator for their newest console and it would STILL be a next-generation console. The fact of the matter is that its a technical term that was hijacked by stuffed-shirt unimaginative marketing buffoons.

 P.S. The Wii is next-gen simply by virtue of the fact that its the follow-up to the GameCube. Regardless of what hype-based marketing-buzzwords you've bought into, the next-generation is just as is implied; the progeny of the previous. Let's just leave 'er at that, eh?

I think the PLAYSTATION 3, asides from sucking, considering the fact that its already boldly in caps, should just go the full hundred yards and replace '3' with roman numerals. PLAYSTATION III rocks a lot harder.

The Wii, asides from sucking, is not nearly motion sensitive enough. Everytime my cat jumps at the little connector cable between the 'chuck and the Wiimote, something should happen. Also, the wrist strap should electocute you... for no discernable reason.

The Xbox 360, asides from sucking, should complete the Xbox Life "Arcade" experience by installing a coin slot on the machine. You'd have to pay a quarter every ten minutes to use the thing. What does it do to the quarters? When it fill up it melts them into slag, covering the motherboard with molten metal and catching afire... while laughing at you.

The PC, asides from sucking, is too cheap. Every day on WoW I hear kids yelling all sortsa crap. Only the ten richest industrials of Europe should be able to afford Chuck Norris jokes and Caturday, thus keeping the riff-raff out.

See! That's how you draw out the Blood-God of System Wars. A bit of fine-tuned logic like that should work wonders...

I don't take my time defending my purchases, nor do I have some misguided loyalty to a massive corporation that acknowledges me only as a statistic. Asides from being chock-full of awesome action, that game really made me laugh. It had a great script. (That really applies to Future Perfect, but the overall sentiment can apply to the whole damn series.)

Oh, Lord, please forgive me! I thought I purchased the Wii to have fun. Here I was, playing Super Paper Mario, decided to take a break and BAM! I read this. I've already thrown out my Wii. I can't believe I was being shammed like this! Oh, what a fool I was!

Now, quickly! Point me in the direction of one of them-there PLAYSTATION 3 systems I've been hearing the kids talk about. I must find fun, with adequate giddgity-gadgets and speculative-specs, as fast as possible!

Viruses, bugs and hackers, games come in big cardboard boxes, gotta buy a desk and chair, mouse always sticks to the spilt coke on the mouse pad, screen gives you poor eyesight with being so close, gotta search for patches, only 3 good genres of games, can't play sports or fighting games with a mouse and last but not least...its too much hassle to take to a friends house.

Don't forget that most computer desks are made of either metal or plastic... both of which are extremely cold when you first sit down in the morning to check the news.
