From what do you base this opinion? A CG movie?

I'd be willing to shuck out five bucks to rent "Killzone: The Movie."

The original was nothing to rave about. I doubt this will be any different.

-Spock-

The original may not have brought much to the table, but what it did were high-quality meals. Sure, the plot was derivative and al ot of the concepts were cliche, but adding in co-op, multiple characters, and alternate endings (based off who got killed) was a heck of a step forward for a company which had no previous game experience. Co-op play is something that, I feel, survival horror games should definitely have. There's something to be said about picking through rooms and fighting monsters when you have a friend there.

I'm glad their concentrating on advanced rope physics, that sure looks like a good place to concentrate time, and effort. sigh Look, I'm not saying people should stop trying to improve things, but I'm sick and tired, and this is especially true for FPS, that developers focus so much effort on mundane eye candy stuff like this and then give you an 8 hour game with a garbage story. Why can't developers focus on making a lengthy fun game with polished gameplay and then focus on stuff like this. Zerostatic0

Dear Sir,

From start to finish (including signature) your post made a helluva lotta sense. I applaud you.

P.S. That was not sarcasm, by the way. It's just refereshing to read something other then the typical "cows/sheep/lemmings OMG/PWNZ" drivel that tends to quickly fill up the barrel here.

I do believe that they go over those points in this month's Game Informer. Apparently the planes were taken out to make it "more realistic"...

... in other news, apparently, one bullet kills you and being arrested locks your console for thirty to forty years withou the option of parole.

Nothing. I'd be a laissez faire god.

For example, if noone knew that lair was a game you could tell them that it was some new action dragon moive and they would actually belive it because it looks so cinematic. While gears looks really good as well just something about it just doesnt give that whole cinematic feel to the gameplay.

Hey, do you get a good insurance plan? I'm really wondering. What about overtime and vacation?

Why would 1up put a release date for a tech demo? Who else think it will come.

Let it die! LET IT DIE!!

I mean, seriously, are we that bankrupt for new properties that we need to remake old ones?

That's money that could be put on brand-spankin'-new prospects.

Okay, it's not first person, but I'll mention it...

Conflict: Desert Storm

Me and my friends STILL enjoy knocking back beers and tromping through Baghdad in four-player splitscreen.
