I would avoid COD4 until they release the EU patch. Not worth the hassle at the moment.

I think it's 2048 down and 256 up with BT, the vast majority of the games before the update were fine. The PS3 is in a DMZ with a wired connection so I think that's fine unless someone knows better, let me know what ports need forwarding and I'll try that. At least I can find games faster.

Yes, and it got worse after the server-side update. Before the update it was the odd game that suffered some lag, now it's every game I notice lagging.

No, I didn't like the demo either. I hate the free-roam - note to EA: it is NOT Grand Theft Auto racing. The series has been going backward since Takedown imo.

No... certainly not on release day anyway perhaps later in the year I'll consider it. The demo was a disappointment imo. I didn't like the free-roam, just reminds me of racing in GTA - seems quite similar to me. The stunt mode didn't interest me either. EA have made this game steady worse since Takedown.
