The 360 D-pad is trash, which is why I went out and bought an Xbox One controller for my PC. The DS1/2/3 D-pad, while more responsive and accurate than the 360, always hurt my thumb after a while due to the gap in the middle. Haven't tried the DS4.
That said, the Xbox One D-Pad lies somewhere between a Sony and Nintendo one. It's 'clicky' and very responsive, and it uses the Nintendo-style ' + ' shape instead of Sony's 'gap' design.
@stewart24: I have no problem with them; they rest where your fingers naturally go while holding the controller so they're easy enough to press and don't require you to hold the controller much differently to accommodate them. They're also removable if you don't like them.
This addition doesn't make any sense. FF7 was never on any Nintendo platform; in fact it's the very title where SquareSoft jumped ship from Nintendo to Sony over the N64's use of cartridges and lack of storage compared to CDs.
SSB is supposed to be a celebration of Nintendo's franchises and characters. Some 'guest stars' like Sonic, Mega Man, etc, are ok, but they should have some connection to Nintendo in SOME way! FF7 does not.
Honestly, I'm getting to the "enough is enough" point with these DLC characters...
According to the official store page, under "System Requirements"
"System requirements: For use with Xbox One systems and PCs running Windows 7 or later. PC use requires included USB cable or Wireless Adapter (available Holiday 2015)."
There actually is a PC version of Sonic Heroes already. It was released back in 2004 alongside the console versions, though I think it was only available in Europe. I have no idea if it works on modern hardware though.
Spyro is an Activision property now, and it's doubtful they'll ever let him have his own game since Skylanders took off. If Sony did manage to license the character, Insomniac wouldn't be around to develop the next game anyway; they're a Microsoft shop now.
Crash Bandicoot is also under Activision's boot, but Sony has a better chance of licensing that series. And Naughty Dog is still around to develop the game.
Bring back Tomba. The games were absolutely amazing and really deserving of a quality remake/reboot/sequel. It's a travesty that there hasn't been a new Tomba game since the late 90's.
See, they didn't get BF4 a 'little bit' wrong. They got it VERY wrong. That's why they haven't fixed it.
The full quote is: "When we get it a little bit wrong, we do our best to fix it. When we get it REALLY wrong, it's not in fact wrong at all; it's the customer's fault for not understanding our vision."
