i'd say Sloane from Blood Dragon and The Jackal from FC2 are the only others that hold up.....Sloane wasn't much on personality but his goal was mass destruction, obliterate everything and raise cyborgs and robots up if I remember....and Jackal wasn't really a villain so much as he was like what Kurtz [Marlon Brando's character] was in Apocalypse Now. but Jackal was a little more likable once you got to know him.....he was still very business and logical but you start to get what he was really doing, you and him were on pretty much the same path...

@brightamethyst: I didn't really care for SMB the movie and I did see it a few years ago just to see if it was as bad as i remember....it is.....it's pure ridiculousness.....

Honestly Hollywood needs to stop making game movies cus they all suck.....I mean when even the best ones end up being sh**t on by everyone you have a problem and every single game movie has been divisive.....may as well stop, I'll laugh when the new Tomb Raider movie only ends up a little better than the ones with Angelina Jolie.....

part of the problem with some of these is directors like Paul, WS Anderson who anly ever directs the first one and might pass on coming back until like way late in the cycle, he did it with RE series, Mortal Kombat [he seemed to get MK and it was good but someone else directed part 2 snd it was sh**t and non gaming he did the same with Death Race and AVP] I like movies like Tron or Assault Girls or Avalon where the movie is it's own thing and potentially inspire a real game based on the movie...like Tron did....

unlike comics there's nobody on the inside who respects games so we're stuck with crap game adaptations....

a game this customizable and they didn;t greenlight it due to moronic thinking??? they deserve to burn IMO I was never into Crysis it was too samey to Far Cry which i liked more and it could be the best thing ever but from my perspective it was too samey also from every vid i saw no ability lasted that long or long enough to matter and firefights all seemed like a clusterf**k, again not my kind of game.....

once upon a time Brad Pitt played a little character called Tyler Durden in a small little movie called Fight Club, this movie became a cult favorite.....no not a poison laced kool aid drinking cult but rabid fan following for a movie that most of the moviegoing public overlooked or serves a certain type of person....anyways the popularity of the movie in some circles eventually spawned a game for I believe PS2 and old XBOX and tyler Durden was one of the characters though IDK if Brad did VO or if they just ripped audio from the movie but there's your connection....

he was in a movie that became a game, this being a games site.....well.....lolz
