@trialia: no, it was just a sh**t episode, every other ripped from the headlines story they did in the past, they did their homework and inserted a POV to it, gave people another side of what we saw in the news making the issue a more grey issue whatever the issue was, in the gamergate episode there was none of that, gamers are all bad, screw the victim, the actual perps screw everyone is how it came off.....if their intent was to be sarcastic they failed big time......

I don't even give a F about the gamergate issue cus they royally screwed it up, the moron SJW's and the press and gamers who didn't know sh**t screwed it up, it turned into this nasty thing and a mainstream show trying to tackle such a convoluted issue they shot themselves in the foot.....

nothing went over my head, i understood what they were doing and it pissed me off cus it was bad writing on a show that's become super boring and super repetitive....

@cagedisciple: yet the impact of each Daniel Craig Bond flick is minimal at best.....Casino Royale was passable, Quantum was utterly panned, Skyfall was received well enough but never really hit the big time, Spectre destroyed any positive good will from Skyfall and going forward it just looks bleak.....

also you have to consider the movies are being released through Sony Pictures and that could be a major impact on the production in a negative way but just from the POV of a movie fan, I haven't really loved any of the Bond movies since Brosnan was done, I enjoyed Skyfall but don't really care for the others and even Brosnan's run wasn't stellar, World is Not Enough and Tomorrow Never Dies were kinda weak but Goldeneye and Die Another Day were good and I loved Connery and Moore's runs....also Dalton was fantastic the theme for License to Kill alone was one of the all time best themes.....

sorry but I despise modern pop music, Adele?? meh, Gladys Knight and Tina Turner and Shirley Bassey all have the best theme songs with Ah Ha, Duran Duran, Paul McCartney & Garbage rounding out some of the better rock oriented themes...while I like Chris Cornell's song from Casino Royale it just seemed out of place....I always liked the more classy side to Bond's sound design, from sound effects to the score and theme song and IMO lately they've fallen off the wagon....

keep in mind i've been watching these movies since well 198X cus IDK what year i really got into it but I was always aware of the franchise as a kid, I've seen all the movies, even enjoy Dr No and the early ones but like I said they've fallen off the wagon...

it's kinda time for a change, maybe quit setting em now and do retro flicks for a change?? now is boring, we don't need a reminder in every new movie....

@nazart81: that was pretty good too, I just saw it a few days ago, totally dig it.....really though the big draw for me was Sofia Boutella.....but i liked Charlize Theron too, she kicked some serious ass lol

they really should have hired another actor after Skyfall, end Craig's run on a high note and go into a major change, keeping all the supporting cast but just hiring a new Bond and a new actor to play Blofeld in at least 3 films or say screw Spectre and bring in "The Union" or something from the books....lighten up the tone a bit, bring back the fun.....

IDK as it stands i'll pass on Bond 25 and wait for the next one and see if they actually change things up finally.....what I'm getting at above is do retro style movies set in the cold war era, late 40's, the 50's 60's, 70's & 80's.....have some fun with it, do away with all the cop outs and limit the tech to the actual era yet keep some of the effects, maybe even implement hi def B&W movies which would be interesting.....something has to be done to liven up the series cus what they're doing now is murder.....[to the series I mean]

@catsimboy: Uhh they sort did that already and it was a sh**t episode cus it threw gamers under the bus.... I started to lose respect for SVU at that point.....basically that was the big divisive episode devoted to their version of gamergate and they seriously fracked it up lolz

I predict the fall of EA or one of the bigger publishers, i think the loot box fiasco has harmed gaming to a massive degree and hurt business and the rep of major publishers that this could be what triggers a partial collapse or a full on crash of gaming.....or it could collapse a publisher and regulation will kick in and all pubs after rill be sanctioned heavily for enacting anti-consumer practices but I don't see that happening like that, they'll go overboard and gaming could lose fully what made it a good medium...

Netherrealm will announce a game like MK Shaolin Monks but maybe take that idea and apply it to the Special Forces idea and have it be a brawler where you can play as a handful of heroes from MK or create your own character and partner with many of the heroes to brawl your way through the MK universe

TimeSplitters makes a return, TS Trilogy or TS4...[probably won't ever happen]

an indie dev makes a successful Mutant League clone and includes 4 sports in the title, Football, Baseball, Hockey, Soccer, [game would be 32 bit gfx], a bunch of teams for each sport plus the ability to create your own teams [4 in total, 1 for each sport]

MS is still gonna struggle and deliver BS propaganda about so called their games and will continue to lose market share due to a lack of first party games...

Sony will keep on their current strategy and the newer games coming up like Detroit, Ghost Of Tsushima?, God of War but I think we'll see a lukewarm response to Days Gone also I think we'll see another Horizon DLC announced [the savage East? or something like that, maybe even deal with Sylenz]

We'll see some major news regarding Cyberpunk 2077, perhaps a new E3 trailer and release date for Q1 2019....

I'm probably gonna be very wrong on some of this but I do think the cred of most major pubs are in doubt at this point...and everyone needs to build trust back again....the way things are going can not continue, we need a return to the good old days to some degree, greed will kill games for good and the sooner the corps learn and accept this the better...
