*Sigh*....My 2nd console just died on me. Should the refurb that I receive be one that has been manufactured recently? I sure hope so because I've heard that the newer ones run better and have less chance of dying. The one I get back better work because I'm sick of this already. It's ridiculous.
Bump. I just want to know if I should expect my refurb to have a recent MFR date and if it should run better and have less of a chance of dying than the older ones.
My 2nd system just died and I was wondering something. Will I receive one of those new systems with "Falcon" or whatever it's called? I don't know much about this whole thing, but I was wondering if I'm going to get a newer system. Do the newer ones run cooler or something? Has anyone received a system within the last few weeks with a recent MFR date? I want to be ensured that the system I get will last me a long time and has a better chance of lasting me a long time.
If anyone can clarify and help me out, I'd appreciate it.
I called up MS yesterday to place a repair order and they're shipping me the box. I have a question though: can I check the status of the repair on Xbox.com or can you only do it if you actually placed the order on the website?
I have to send in my 2nd console because it was freezing up every single time I would turn it on after a few minutes. My first one had the RROD right out of the box. It took 9 days to get mine back the first time. My question is this: the woman said that it would take 3-4 weeks to get it back which I'm pretty sure is exaggerated. How long did it take to get yours back? I live in New York.
I just want to get a feel for how long it will take since the first time I sent it in it was abnormally quick and I doubt that will happen. How long did it take yours to get back after sending it in?
