with the exception of full expansion packs, i dont think we should have to pay for dlc. we've paid for the game, why should we have to pay more for crummy updates.

preferably the developer should think about what they could add to a game BEFORE release. many people don't have access to xboxlive or the ps network.

i heard that rumour, i hope not. i couldn't take it seriously.

im hoping for a historical game, not modern day, future, or ww2. ww1 springs to mind, im sure you could get some dam decent gameplay out of it, unlike some people seem to say.

fallout 3 or far cry 2?

at the minute i have halo 3, which is great, cod4, great but multiplayer gets a bit annoying, bioshock, brilliant but not got enough replay value i dont think, assassins creed, good but has no replay value as gets a bit repeatative, star wars force unleashed, good but not much replay value and pretty linear, and the orange box, completely awesome. i want a good open world rpg kind of game (for the 360) that will take a while to complete, with lots of replay value. im leaning towards farcry2, but i just want other peoples opinion. im also not sure i like the look of fable 2.

fary cry 2

good-

massive open world. awesome graphics. very unlinear isnt it? variety of african environments. freedom to do missions how you want. multiplayer and map editor will probably have me going back for a while.

bad-

apparently not much of a story, me like a game with a good story. as far as i can tell nothing in common with far cry 1...but that doesn't really matter. multiplayer is apparently nothing new. not an rpg which is what im really loking for i think.

fallout 3

good-

i like the whole alernative reality of it. original, essential in games. i like quest missions kind of things. sounds like it has a great story. although i didnt own or barely play oblivion, i liked it, and would quite like a game like it.

bad-

im not sure i like the look of the vats system, i prefer to be doing things for myself. other combat looks a bit...clunky. no multiplayer as far as im aware.

after writing that im beginning to lean towards fallout now. you wait for ages for a decent game to come along, then a dozen come along at once. lol. im getting gears 2 anyway which will have awesome multiplayer, so multiplayer probably isnt a big issue.

I always wizz through games really quickly, like i did with star wars tfu, which i only got a couple of days ago. I like 1st & 3rd personshooters, action adventures type games and rpg if im in the right mood with lots of replay value, will take quite a while to complete, pretty open world, and preferably multiplayer. I'm almost certainly going to get Gears 2, but i'm just thinking about xmas.

Games that I like the look of, in order most to least-

Gears2, CoD Waw, Dead Space, Far Cry 2, Legendary, Fall Out 3, Left4Dead.

I don't really think Fable 2 is my cup of tea. I wanted Far Cry 2 for quite a while, but i'm not so sure now. And i'm not sure so i like the look of the combat in fall out 3. I think i'd prefer a 3rd person kind of thing sinse i have a few fps already, don't want any games to be similar. I'm not so sure i need Cod Waw. So i'm leaning towards dead space and far cry 2. Let's say i get 2 (not including gears), what would yall recomend?
