I am having a problem with validating my Far Cry 2 game. It is apparently required to play the game. I get a long number and in a second box I have to type in a "serial number". It is said to be at the back of the game's manuel. What I find is the "CD-Code". So I type it in and am given the message that the number is incorrect. There aren't any other numbers accept for the bar code (That doesn't work either). What do I do. I went to the "step by step" direction and they are a repeat of what I had tried before. I tried upper case, lower case, with and without the dashes, and the bar code. Did the automatically downloaded update screw things up? Is my game spireling into unrecognizes patch space???

I am playing FEAR 2. I am at the tenth level, just past the Nurse's Office,and am stopped cold. Not because of some unfound path, mishandled quest, or computer crash. Oh no. This is much worse. This one guy is kicking my #$%^. I have no chance. He invites me to open this sliding door bragging about how he took care of "lollipops like me" plenty of times before. Instead of shooting it out I am force by the game to scuffle with him melee style until he shoves me to the floor, calls me a rather nasty name and shoots me. I don't get to shoot him but he can feel free to shoot me. What is up with that? I must be doing something wrong or not doing something I should. Can anyone enlighten me as to what I must do to get past this roadblock? The game has stopped for me. I'd love to get beyond this part. Thanks for any constructive advice.

I meant 5 COD5. I get a message that i should go to COD5/update but when I do it is a "list of servers. Huh? I download what I think is a patch but I still get the message to udate. Meanwhile I have not been able to play for two weeks. Multiplayer that is. Weird.

Lately, there are fewer and fewer folks listed as playing COD4. What gives? The ping is so high on those that do play it is not worth it to play.
