What compromises?

Compression, slowdown, slight lack of responsiveness actions you do, it doesn't actually read input immediately.

Any articles to back this up or just you making stuff up, slowdown occurs at somepoint in EVERY game even on PC

[QUOTE="StatusShuffle"] L.A. Noire and SR3 which are probably the best open-ended running games on the system while every other game (including INfamous) all suffer from compromises.StatusShuffle

What comprimises does infamous have? What about Prototype 2 running and looking better on PS3.http://www.lensoftruth.com/head2head-saints-row-the-third-analysis/2/SR3 got 3/3 judges preferences.

PT2 is a pretty poor game in general with half the budget of PT2 and yeah, no. Infamous 2 mostly make compromises, Infamous 1 just had a few graphical issues, but not for when it was out.

Wait what? Prototype 2 has half the budget of Prototype 2? And why does that even matter. Name the Compromises, and stop ignoring the SR3 Link

[QUOTE="charizard1605"][QUOTE="StatusShuffle"] But there have been cases when a game had run better than the 360 version before even with the compromises and in those rare 2 cases it seems clear to me something else is causing the issues unless those 2 games were disguised as open-world.StatusShuffle
The games themselves were probably not as taxing on the system, then, or they used some 'cheats' to achieve the illusion of a continuous open world (like Metroid Prime, and its 'shoot at the door loading'). What games are you talking about, though?

[QUOTE="megaspiderweb09"]

I had seen those comparisions before in system wars. Finaly being able to use PS+, its not even closely related at all.

PS+ is basicly paying a fee to get Free games and exclusive access to bonuses ( i got 10 games for twelve pounds, thats crazy!!)

Plagueless

Cows need to learn the differance between FREE, and Rental. PS+ is essentially digital gamefly. Free would be like last year when Valve gave Portal away for free on steam. No payment required. Paying subscription fee for games =/= free games

Steam is a rental service, if steam goes out of buisness or offline your ****

[QUOTE="RR360DD"]

LOL this is a goddamn video game, not some argument about human rights. I just want you to recognise that I think Halo is much better than Killzone, and that the gaming critic community agrees with me, not you.

In regards to CoD, I can respect gaming journalists for giving MW and MW2 such good scores, I loved them games. COD4 completely took over Halo 3 as my online multiplayer game. But since then, they have been downhill as have their scores. So no, Halo is still the consistently better series, and Halo 4 will continue that trend. Killzone isn't even in the same ballpark. Sorry.

RR360DD

Look at his video and skip to 0:56. It shows you how blank and boring Halo is. :lol:

Killzone is looking awesome and immersive until that Halo footage... Now you gotta admit that Halo isn't a very good game if you're rooting for single player.

Killzones story sucks. Graphically it looks great, but its still a corridor shooter that I just found boring. Halo doesn't have the strongest story out there, but its still a heck of a lot better than Killzones. It may not have the uber graphics, but it makes up for that with vast areas with tons of features and a soundtrack that destorys anything in Killzone.

Then you can add the theatre mode, the on-line co-op, the skulls etc. which Halo has and killzone doesn't, and it just shlts all over killzone really. And thats without even mentioning competitive multiplayer, in which its no competition really.

Halo 3 (94) > Killzone 2 (91)

Everything you said was an opinion, not fact. The only thing you said that was true is Theatre and Forge. Those do not make it better or worse.
