RE6 seems likely, because its lol Capcom. But I honestly would prefer to see a WiiU entry in the vein of Revelations, because RE6 looks just as awful as 5 quite frankly.

Not seeing why GTA5 wouldn't come to the WiiU whenever it's released. Rockstar supported the Wii and DS...

you pretty much have to have 1 particular character on your team at all times (though he/she is very handy so not a huge issue. im being vague on who it is on purpose). osan0

Nah, not really. I was surprised that people had the most different team formations. The battle system can be really deep, with most characters playing completely different. (Though I personally didn't care too much about switching them up :P )

Better than Xenoblade? Only time will tell!

D4W1L4H

Yeah... almost certainly not :P

There might be people that prefer LS, sure why not, but Xenoblade is on a level that is rarely ever reached, while LS generally seems to be ,,Great, but not outstanding''.

Yes. Launch Wii. Sent it in when it didn't read Xenoblade (dual layered disc) and they cleaned it. Thought that would also eliminate the noise, but it didn't. Works fine otherwise though.

[QUOTE="JLF1MarkII"]

[QUOTE="meetroid8"] Monolith is owned by Nintendo, but they aren't an in house developer. So I guess that would make it 2nd party?meetroid8

Neither is Intelligent Systems, they operate on their own.

IMO if you are 100% owned by a company you are 100% a part of that company and answers for said company.

I don't think IS is considered first party either. Though, honestly I don't know what the exact definition of 2nd party vs 1st oarty.

IS are as much first party as Monolith, Retro and HAL. Monolith had several developers helping out in other Nintendo games such as SS. They are 100% owned by Nintendo.

Developers like Monster Games are second party. They aren't owned by Nintendo, but currently only make games for Nintendo/ ordered by Nintendo.

It will come. But it's not like I want it. I'd prefer some new game like Revelations that at least partially tries to bring back the atmosphere of the older games, instead of this awkward Gears of War sequel featuring RE characters.

[QUOTE="NaveedLife"]

I hope its something big and not some small eshop game or casual title. I want a new pillar to their big 3 (Metroid, Zelda, Mario). WiiU preferably.

prostar343

I have to agree with this. I would love a brand new IP on par with Zelda, Mario, and Metriod.

lol, where did this nonsense come from - who decided those ,,3 pillars''? You can't possibly talk about the sales, because Metroid is niche by Nintendo standards in two out of three of the big videogame markets and even in the US, it isn't even a guaranteed million seller. You also couldn't be serious suggesting that these are their only high quality series. Smash Bros and recently Donkey Kong Country have proven to be significantly more successful and great games at the same time. Not to mention the still enormous sales of Pokemon. World wide, even Kirby should be more succesful than Metroid.

Also, give this man a break. He has given this industry so much, let him do whatever pleases him. It would be disappointing to have him making another project like Nintendogs or Wii Fit, but it's not like he's the only competent developer there. Just recently Monolith Soft have proven to be a great addition to Nintendos 1st Party by releasing the best console JRPG of the whole generation, that also happened to be a new IP and it has been confirmed by them, that theyre already making a WiiU game. More alongside that, with projects like Pushmo and the usual huge catalogue of quality series at Nintendo, they can not make much more and are easily the best and most diverse publisher in the industry. It should be the 3rd parties making more games in the same vein as Nintendo and bring fresh ideas, instead of copying each other endlessly.

edit: As someone else pointed out. Yes it's true, in fact, DKC Returns sold more than the whole Prime trilogy combined :/

They always bring new ones, which you just tend to overlook, probably on purpose which gives you reason to cry moar. Just lately they brought one excellent puzzle IP and the best home console RPG of this gen. They also have a bigger pool of high quality gaming series than most (if not all) other videogame companies. And series like 3D Mario show more evolution and change in between sequels than all these ,new IPs' this gen that are basically clones of each other. (Yes, shooters)

The real problem: No 3rd Party ever trying to make unique new IPs with a mindset similar to Nintendo, because the whole industry tries to ignore them but is then baffled when they again have the most success. Level 5 did it with Layton and they had insta success. (Too bad they're now milking it to death)

It's going to be about 70 pages in the book. Of course, it's going to make more sense reading all of it, with more details given (already shown on the preview page). And even looking at it now makes sense. The old games can't fit in there, since OoT was a prequel to them, but Aonuma then made sequels for OoT. So the old games are basically a ,what if' scenario if you really want to link them to the rest of the series. Only Minish Cap and Four Swords (Adventures) look awkward right now.
