LBP is a new franchise. Fable 2, and Banjo are established franchises. The sales and hype wfrom Fable 2 and Banjo 3 will vastly overcome LBP.

The fall dashboard update will obviously get a lot of marketing to raise awareness. MS will also market the **** out of the above games. They will also advertise that you can play all PS3 multiplats on a $199 360 instead of a $400 console.

MS will win this holiday against PS3.......in NA at least. This isnt being a fanboy....well it is but that doesnt make it not true.

Sony hasn't made a profit yet on the Stinkstation 3

last gen MS lost $4 billion on Xbox. and this gen, when they started making a profit on Xbox please fix me, they lost it all on the RROD warranty thing. :lol:

PS2 is at 140 million and counting. Xbox LTD is 24 million.

360 looks to surpass their predessor in three years, since Xbox took 4 years to reach 24 milion. 360 even did it with a higher price tag and with RROD.

correct. but PS2 was the #1 console. PS3 is fighting for 2nd with MS. Talk about embarassing given the PS2/Xbox gap last gen.

I dont see the market supporting PS3 for 10 years, especially with the XBox 362 hitting rumored holiday 2010.

last holiday the 360 was only $50 cheaper. The Arcade was $280, not close to a mass market price.Now its a $200 gap, a mass market price. The main sku is now $100 cheaper. And a Elite can go toe to toe with the 80 gig PS3.

Elite has: backwards compatibility, HDMI cable, Headset, 40 gigs more, ethernet.

$400 PS3: wifi, bluray.

From a gamers view, Id say the Elite is better. And that NOT including whether MS will do a bundle like Marvel and Forza 2 like in 07.
