and sides eventually applications are going to start taking of advantage of the gpu. Starting with adobe products. So technology has to be head of its game before the consumer. its Just how it works. And another thing. Why do people get soo upset when new video cards or any new hardware comes out on the market?. Whats bothering you?. Its like saying they should not make newer cars until we have used every feature in our cars. So what if you see a newer model of a car right after you have bought yours. So whats the big deal people??. That just how technology works. I wounder about people sometimes geeze. Should people not build custom bikes or hot rods anymore because its not where the market is at??. what kind of mind is that??. Very stupid if you ask me. In case you guys have forgot let me remind you that Computers are more than just a office computer or home computer. Pc's falls in a unique position where no marketing is necessary. Just like custom bikes that you see on the discovery channel. So what let these people have it there way instead of trashing their hobbies. How would you like it if i said "You cant paint your console you have to leave it by default of the manufacturer" And trust me i have seen people do weird things to their consoles. Which makes me wounder what they really want but can't afford it. So in the end so what if nvidia make these powerful cards for kicks. Nvidia is not telling you to buy them. Its all about how far we can push technology. I am just amazed how powerful this card is. If you guys fail to comprehend than i suggest you start reevaluating your education.
ToEleduel: thanks but no thanks i prefer my pc than any console. Console gamers are spoon fed of course they say stuff like "go buy a ps3 and save your money" thats all they can say. Just because its cheap does not mean its the best interests to anyone.
I dunno about the MGS series anymore. Sure i like the screens and seen the footage but after what i heard of the 10 or was it an hour not to sure. But the thing i heard was that there is going to be a very long cutscene in the game. I probably play at a friends house or a demo booth but i am not interested in the mgs series anymore. Wasn't it Hideo Kojima the creator of Metal Gear series was not too impressed with the Graphics on 4? As far as gta IV goes i know that will eventually end up on pc. The question is when??

Talk to me when consoles are no longer mandatory to require optical discs then i can be truly impressed lol. Something that steam has done a great job at.
but at the sametime pc hardware in general has gotten cheaper. Like i said ram is like candy and budget cards with good performance at a very reasonable price. Excluding retail pc's as they do not count unless its either from falcon northwest or dell xps systems. But then again those are very very expensive which leaves you to just building it your own.
to Massoud03: Ram is like candy processors does not really matter much in games. They can barely use 2 cores out of your quad or even a dual core. MB don't have to be expensive. Same with power supplies. Cases have become awsome looking and plenty to choose from. which overall is a better value as in getting more than a console. and not just a gaming rig but more than just gaming. I would dare anyone to try to overclock this card and see how much more performance you can get out of it. I guess before buying this card? One would have to consider if their power supply can handle this beast. 230watts it consumes. is this true??
