I have to say I was skeptical of the cooking genre, that is until the Easy Bake DS wireless accessory was anounced...now THAT's a cool feature! Cake Mania! W00T!
:D

Same game, different characters and objectives. It's all in which story line you want to experience. I just bought them both so I could play either.
big mistake wii is cheaper and you would have had more fun with rayman rabbids on it tisk tisk.owl777
Not necessarily...I bought a "pre-loved" system and got an ass-load of discounts that I wouldn't have gotten on the Wii. As for the "red ring of death"? Well, I'll just have to think nice thoughts and give it juice and cookies before every nap.
Thank you all for the words of encouragement...I've really grown to love my 360 over the last 18 hours. I had a little more technical difficulty, but I got through it with the help of a few internet sites. (I hate that it didn't come with an instruction book, and the Xbox site is a bit too vague with troubleshooting)
I have added Bullet Witch and Condemned to my collection, and swapped the corded controller for a second wireless, and I'm extremely satisfied with my purchases. Now I'm planning my next round of games...and some titles are taking precidence over others simply because I can get them at VERY good prices. Up next are Crackdown and Kameo, and perhaps an Xbox title or two like Conker and Halo.
Thanks everyone! Keep the suggestions rolling in!
(And the Elder Scroll titles are now on my list)
You, sir, are so very, very whipped.

Nah, she provided the 2 systems to trade so I figure I'll let her get Bullet Witch and Rayman, and I'll get Lost Planet, Call Of Juarez, Gears Of War, Crackdown, Silent Hill and Resident Evil 5 (whenever they become available), Bioshock, Blue Dragon, Dead Rising, and...oh yeah, LOTS of sex. She can have whatever game she wants. :D
I did have a moment of "new buyer's panic" when I got home and could not hook up the second controller I had bought (it was a refurb system that happened to come with a wireless controller). I found out that the USB adapter was missing so I'll have to go back to the store today. Think I'll just pay the extra and justget another wireless. And having never played a 360, I hooked up the hard drive and reformatted it just to be safe. To my amazement, there was only 13.9 GB of space on my 20 GB hard drive. Of course I was concerned...then found an article on how Microsoft allocates 7 GB for system updates, etc.
For once, I feel like a complete noob (even though I HATE that word). Are there any other "surprises" I should be aware of? I traded a TON of games just to get this system, and I don't want to second guess my purchase...if there's anything else I should know about (like the hard drive no really being 20 GB), please inform...
And thanks everyone for the game suggestions...keep 'em coming!
Welcome to party. Though I have to ask why Raving Rabbids?capthavic
